I got the same email from Allan Scott as well, hopefully that his statement letter could be use as a reference to all of us victims all over the world to get our money back from the merchant (XL&H Ltd.) which should be done by all of us ASAP to the credit card bank. I feel certain that it is all part of the scam, but I thought it was interesting that they are trying to "sell" this story to their customers (victims). Have others received a similar e-mail from them? Just curious.

I was able to obtain a refund from my credit card company, even though I bought the tickets in February 2008. I informed them that I was not on notice until late July that there was a problem, since I did not expect the tickets to ship until late July. This satisfied them that I had not waited too long to report the fraud.

Although other credit card company policies may differ, I would encourage you to at least attempt to contact your credit card company.

Don't we feel like fools! All of us must of been a little bit concerned in reality but the site was very professional. I may have lost $5600US we shall wait and see. Anyway, I am still looking forward to going to Beijing with no tickets.
And I might add I will have a great time. So any other people who want to get together in Beijing and party and have a fantastic olympics please email me on [e-mail].

Good luck to all of you who were victims. In all, that website sold about $46 million worth of Olympics tickets. Per MSNBC, this website (http://www.beijingticketscam.com/ )was set up by a person who lost $12k. I guess he is/or has got a lawyer.
