To understand the poisonous impact of "progressive" ideological madness one needs look no further than Oakland. obama and pelosi must be so proud to see the violence and chaos their total lack of vision and "leadership" produced.

Guess Obama shouldn't have let Pelosi waste the first two years of his reign on "progressive" ideological madness rather than moving to do anything to create JOBS.

How sad for our children. How sad for us all.

The "protesters" were ordered to leave. Its pretty simple. Obey the police or they will help you leave in another fashion. Rules apply to leftists also.

i believe we may still have the right to peacefully assemble but that's not the point. THESE PEOPLE WERE TRYING TO HELP AN INJURED MAN if you were hurt would you want everyone to stand and look at you like the cops did or would you want someone to at least try to help you?

This is all by design. You don't like somebody so you go up to their fence and begin taunting their dog. Stick your hand through the fence and get bitten.

Now you can call Channel 7 News with a story about a hateful neighbor with a vicious dog.

Works every time. This is how Community Organizers play, dontcha know?!!

You will see more of this as long as King Obama remains in office.

Its my understanding that the man who was "injured" got hurt after refusing the first order to leave. Its goes back to following the instructions of law enforcement.

As far as the right to assemble. Yes we still have that right, but WITHIN existing laws and ordinances. The area the protesters were ordered to leave forbids people staying overnight in the park. Forget setting up a tent city with no date to leave in sight.

This whole fiasco seems planned to get press for the OWsers.

Sure, there's a right to peaceful assembly and free speech. Your rights are defined within the scope of the law, however.

Example- The Constitution gives me the right to bear arms. The state of Iowa gives me a Concealed Carry Permit. If I go to Chicago do I carry my weapon (which would be illegal in Chicago) or do I follow the law?

You decide.

The SEIU will make the decisions about how violent the Occupy Riots will be depending on how willing citizens are to be dishonored, disrespected, and shamed on a State by State basis. The more powerful the public sector unions in a State to more violent, destructive, and chaotic the Mob action will be in the State.

Californian's are at the top of the list for Mob Violence as we are nationally known to be cowards, morons, and lunatics based on our limp wristed response to the massive Alien invasion and colonization.
