A Tauranga tradesman who went to Christchurch to help after the February earthquake is accused of stealing $40,000 worth of goods from shops in the red-zone. A local woman has also been in court and is charged in relation to a garage sale where allegedly-stolen clothing from red-zone stores was hocked off.
