I LIKE our new police cell specifications! Now if we can just extend the same spec to prisons...

Owwwwwwww!lol Now THIS TIME tell the prisoner to put the other hand in the automatic door.... one more time, to even it out...to add a touch of symmetry to both hands.

My old mate Masina!(big smile)

How are you? And where have you been? Hopefully not keeping an eye on my grumpy postings, as I have been grumpy indeed. Trouble on the home front, of the teenage variety, so I've been grumpy in the real world too! Although I've been a bit short on time for Topix of late, so you may have been here but I've missed your posts.??

Anyways, to topic. Your post...do I see the word DETERRENT in there somewhere? What a crack up, huh? I'd go for the symmetry thing, and if there is too much complaining we could do a few toes just to help them forget about the fingers. Actually, for optimal deployment, we should consider the whole hand (both of them). NOW we're talking real deterrent and a MUCH lower level of re-offending!

I've been away EDITING the Koran. The general consensus was that that it was a bit soft in certain areas dealing with certain ethical & moral issues...

Beatles - your knowledge of music is clearly immense, not to mention really scary. Never fails to bring a smile to my face as I'm reminded of just how many miles this old body has done. Thanks so much!

What's disappointing is that there are so few stories with happy endings out there. I see no happy ending for his fella unless he writes his biography which sells like hot pan-cakes and he gets a movie deal. May be Robert Downing Jr could play him and Keia Knightley can be his leading lady.Ah so bleak...!

You should get it published as a prope book. A work of non-fiction. You could perhaps call it "An Aucklander's take on koran". Beatles and me could write nice stuff about the book on the jacket like "unputdownable" or "Don't read it on the train. You might miss the station" or "Book of the year".

How about invite them for a rugby match. Don't think they would be able to handle the brutal contact!
