1st of all, in order to get a bailout the bank has to have over 1 billion in assets. There are over 8,000 banks in this country and 13 are over 1 billion in assets. So for you math wizzards .001625% of the nations banks get bailouts. 2nd, if you feel like keeping money that you know was given to you in error, you are scum , nothing more.

I didn't say it would. That's not the point. I'm talking about integrity and doing the right thing regardless of the provacation.

Agreed! Whatever happened to integrity, honesty & character? The definition of "good character" is doing the right thing when no one's around to see.

I wish I knew. In my overly simplified mind, i think this is what's behind the increase in teenage crime in this country. No honor.

Question: If you're way out in the woods and your wife is nowhere to be found and can't possibly hear what you say and you make a statement ... are you still wrong?

What value system to do follow that says people are perfect and if they make a mistake and give you something that is not yours, it is not considered stealing and you may keep it?
Haha! Somehow "voice of reason" and "Red Lion" don't really seem to fit

Banks have been doing us up the wrong hole for years, so it's refreshing to see somebody flip the bank over and start pumping! I wonder if the human behind the "human error" will ever work in the banking industry again.

Maybe I'm wrong and the rest of the world is right. When I was delivering pizza for Domino's years ago, I delivered one to a guy who gave me a hundred dollar bill but clearly thought it was a twenty. I gave it back to him and he let me keep the 17 cents change for a tip after paying with a twenty.

I'd do it again without giving it a second thought.

You should have kept the$900 and invested it in spelling and grammar lessons. OK?
