A date has been set for Ewan Macdonald's next appearance in the High Court at Palmerston North.

Macdonald is accused of murdering his brother-in-law Scott Guy in Feilding.

He was scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, but his lawyer Greg King says that's been adjourned to a callover on September 27.

He says the Crown is expected to lay the indictable murder charge then.

Mr King says Macdonald will be defending the charge.

My sympathy goes out to the Guy and Mc Donald Families as this trial will bring more tears and grief to all concerned

I think that this will be one of the most tragic Murder Trials in NZ history and totally agree with you Sarah that there will be no winners in this very sad case

I do agree with all of you. Indeed this will be sad for both the families. I just wish the nutter Tamblin doesn't abuse this family any futher. I think they have gone through hell already. It's time for the Guy family to have some peace. Rest in peace Late Mr. Scott Guy.

I see the pyschopath Ms Ex Larking has been on this thread judging. Tamblin has no empathy at all for Scott Guy and the GUY family. Leave this thread alone Tamblin out of respect for Scott Guy and his Family
