If she wants to go into prostitution that's fine, that's a moral and character based decision and not something you should threaten other people with, its also a way an average looking young female can make easy money,I'm sure there are other job possibilities but none that would pay as much money for so little effort maybe she should have considered getting an education before having a child, maybe she feels it's her right to have the N.Z taxpayers cover the cost of her education and childcare, someone this weak will probably turn a few tax free tricks on the side no matter how much money the govt. gives her.She can also have the joy of knowing she has disgraced her parents and child by working as a cheap hooker.

Do you speak from experiences, and are you recommending prostitution as an alternative.

My point is that it is a choice that this person has to make and not a way of blackmailing the N.Z public.

Going into prostitution is against my Christian beliefs and I don't care what you want the money for. You should get a decent job!

If she wants to go into prostitution that's fine, that's a moral and character based decision and not something you should threaten other people with- absolutely agree with this and by the content of the article its not as if she did an extensive search to find a job

its also a way an average looking young female can make easy money- lets be honest, she is less than average in looks and the way she is or portrays herself is not adding to her attractiveness.Besides not all women can say " i guess i'll be a prostitute then" and then just go out there and do it. There are men out there willing to pay for this service and have alot of options available her only competitive strategy at this stage would be to do outcalls and offer lower prices.

maybe she should have considered getting an education before having a child- as much as we think we make the most logical and sensible decisions, it's not always the case. just look at how many people are on Jenny craig programs or look at how many clothes there are in people's closets that they never wear, at the time it was probably a really good decision.

maybe she feels it's her right to have the N.Z taxpayers cover the cost of her education and childcare- Yes i have a few friends in this position and the govt does offer opportunities for people to become have better options- perhaps she should have considered a field that allows her to interact with and grow her child.

someone this weak- yes it seems like she reacts rather than thinks and takes a more responsive and responsible approach to her thought processes. perhaps moving into cheaper housing, sourcing whether she can live closer for a cheaper price, growing a garden, shopping around for cheaper childcare, carpooling with other students to save money, budgeting, selling items other than herself on trade me to raise some funds. her mental processes seem to be like "i've got no money, i'll be a prostitute" that'll be like me saying "i've got no money, i'll be a popstar"

It's not an admirable 'profession' to be in and even if in dire straights, I sure wouldn't 'go on the game'.Life is tough enough without adding the personal problems that most often come with the job.

Please watch the movie "Taken" a true story. You may know where all these millions dollars go to!! and may be we can understand that all these poor women are the victims of somebody!! I don't beleive anyone will go to the prostitution if they have other choice.
