Auckland-Hamilton train service mooted

This afternoon the Transport Committee will consider a two year trial for passenger rail between Auckland and its Waikato neighbour which could be in operation by the 2012/2013 financial year.

Also, the train service will be successful only if the business between Hamilton-Auckland-overseas increases. The govt should consider to develop Hamilton as special economic zone for High-Tech development. Hamilton is rich in research resource and Uni supported. NZ is really needing some incentive to export tech overseas (we have so many innovative products and creative ideas.)
