A car crash claimed the life of a 68-year-old Bethpage man in his hometown early Thursday morning.

Nassau police said Ronald Olsen was driving his Nissan westbound on Boundary Avenue near Stewart Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle, struck a tree and a utility pole at 4:47 a.m.

Olsen was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Eighth Squad detectives say a medical condition may have been a factor in the accident. The Nassau County Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy.

How dare you people judge others. I can only hope you or your family never have to endure a tragedy like this. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I mean he's not known for being shy on topics like this one.
...
And he's from Bethpage.
...
And he opened that Kentuckian-submitted chain mail yesterday, you know, that one that had the threat that if you didn't post it in some other city within the next five minutes something terrible will happen?
...
He didn't re-post.
...
Just sayin'...

Now hold on a second. A pole was struck as well. I never hear any sympathy for poles on this forum. Bunch of racists.

Poles have gotten buckets of sympathy compared to what the concrete bridge abutments get.
Those concrete abutments need to be reinforced.

That all depends on what type of pole it was.

LOL!!! I was thinking the same thing. 68 year old from Bethpage, and someone with such hate for automobile accidents, it would be ironic that he would die in one. I'm just sayin'....
