Section 10, Paragraph 1, U.S. Constitution:
Section 10
1: No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.
The above part of the US Constitution is usually referred to as “the contracts clause”. It states very simply that “No State shall….pass any…or law impairing the Obligation of Contracts…” But this is exactly what NY law and the law in many other states does, with impunity, in patent violation of the precious Constitution so many brave souls have fought and died defending. California and Georgia are also criminal law breakers like New York in violating this clause and writing unfair and illegal and unconstitutional laws protecting deadbeat tenants at the expense of landlords.

New York gang rapes the Constitution. The State of New York should be fined $1,000,000 per day for its patent violation of the U.S. Constitution. The rules between landlord and tenant are private between the two of them, and have nothing to do with the State period.
Just imagine what would happen in a business if before an unruly customer could be thrown out, the owner had to hire a lawyer and go to civil court to obtain an order for eviction, also being forced to pay for the Sheriff deputy to perform the eviction. Instead, the police perform the eviction of any business for free, while the landlord gets the shaft, also in patent violation of the equal protection clause of this same Constitution. New York is a criminal lawbreaker.
The Governor and Attorney General of NY should both be jailed by the U.S. Attorney until this illegal law is repealed.

Isn't it shameful that the many cowardly lawyers, who make so many millions of dollars off the backs of landlords, due to this patently illegal and unfair landlord-tenant law, won't stand up to the Gestapo State of New YOrk, who has illegally written the illegal policy supporting deadbeats who expect to receive free rent condoned by the State, while all other responsible citizens must pay for the services they receive.
Even if tenants lie, cheat and commit theft by deception, as many routinely do, they cannot be charged criminally for their criminal actions!
New York is a Communist Cesspool patently violating the very law it purports and takes a meaningless oath to follow. Shame on the cowardly lawyers and law firms who wink at this
hypocrisy. The only amazing thing is that any property is available for rent to deadbeats anywhere in the country.
