Rush Limbaugh would like to go down on Ann Coulter at a no-tell motel.

As for Sean Hannity, he goes down on his hands and knees daily when he smooches Rupert Murdoch's dumper while Chris Wallace waits in line for his turn.

Down goes Rush!

In the wake of Rush Limbaugh calling birth control activist Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute,” thousands of women who feel personally stung by the attack have risen up to respond.

Throughout the day Friday, it was impossible to keep up with the thousands of Tweets about Limbaugh, virtually all critical.“Somehow only NOW catching up on the Sandra Fluke v. Rush Limbaugh drama,” one woman posted at around 6 p.m. ET.“Wish I hadn't, because now my head is going to explode. Wow.”
By Friday evening, Fluke had more than 15,000 Twitter followers.

Fluke, a Georgetown University law student, had testified during an unofficial Democratic committee hearing about how a friend had been unable to pay for the birth control needed to shrink ovarian cysts and help preserve her fertility. Fluke had been previously blocked from testifying before a Republican-led, all-male congressional panel on contraception and religious freedom.

For his part, Limbaugh argued Friday on his radio show that “Republicans don't hate women, are not at war with women, and never have been. It's absolutely absurd.” He expressed surprise that many considered him a danger to women.“At the end of the week, I am the person that the women of America are to fear the most?” he asked listeners.“What can I do to the women of America?”

Galvanize them, perhaps. On its website Friday, The Feminist Majority Foundation launched a pledge drive entitled “”Stand with Sandra.” Eleanor Smeal, president of the nonprofit organization and a former president of the National Organization for Women, called Limbaugh’s comments “nothing more than name calling and trying to distort the issue."

Conservative organizations are paying millions of dollars a year in sponsorship fees to talk-radio hosts for a package of plugs on the hosts’ shows, according to a Politico report.

The Heritage Foundation, which is credited with pioneering sponsorships of this style and magnitude, reportedly pays about $2 million in sponsorship fees to “The Rush Limbaugh Show” and $1.3 to “The Sean Hannity Show.”

And Heritage has absolutely no reservations about it.

“We approach it the way anyone approaches advertising: where is our audience that wants to buy what you sell?” Genevieve Wood, Heritage’s vice president for operations and marketing.“And their audiences obviously fit that model for us. They promote conservative ideas and that’s what we do.”

What the seven-figure deals guarantee for the organization varies, but most arrangements include a specified number of instances in which the host reads from a script or a set of talking points provided by the organization. The message encourages listeners to visit the organization’s Web site or make a financial contribution.

It’s the ambiguity between traditional advertising and the show’s content that makes this type of sponsorship so valuable to organizations: It circumvents the problem of listeners “tuning out” or changing stations during commercials.

But for listeners, it’s difficult to know whether the host is doing the bidding for an organization or having an honest discussion, as was the case last month when Limbaugh spoke about Heritage’s previous support for health insurance mandates.

President Obama called Georgetown University Law School student Sandra Fluke to "offer his support to her" Friday, after conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh bashed the student activist as a "slut" and a "prostitute" because she is pushing for employers to be required provide insurance coverage that covers contraception.

Mr. Obama called Fluke because "he wanted to offer his support to her, he wanted to express his disappointment that she has been the subject of inappropriate personal attacks and to thank her for exercising her rights as a citizen to speak out on an issue of public policy," said White House spokesman Jay Carney, adding the call lasted several minutes.

"I think he, like a lot of people, feels that the kinds of personal attacks that she is - that have been directed her way are inappropriate," Carney said of the president. "The fact that our political discourse has become debased in many ways is bad enough. It is worse when it's directed at a private citizen who was simply expressing her views on a matter of public policy."

"The president expressed to Sandra Fluke that he was disappointed that she was the subject of these crude-of these personal attacks," he continued. "I think that it's fair to say that - reprehensible was my word, but look, these were unfortunate attacks that were leveled against against her.

Rush is going down!!!

Rush Limbaugh is a repulsive misogynistic blowhard. By now, no one should expect more than neanderthal grunts from him.

But, his radio program is owned by a syndicator, premiere, which in turn is owned by – Clear Channel. Should we not expect more of these companies? And the sponsors of the Rush Limbaugh show. Do you really want to be associated with this horrible man?

And Republicans in Congress, will you not speak up? What if this was your daughter?

What about the Republicans who are running for president, are you men enough? Do you have a backbone to stand up to the spewing volcanic mouthpiece that is Rush Limbaugh? A man who calls a college student who comes before congress to testify a slut? Don’t any of you want to say,“No. This goes over the line.”

This is offensive to anyone with a shred of respect for women. Do you want young women to fear testifying before a government hearing, lest they be subject to slanderous statements broadcast to millions of Americans? Republicans, do you want women to think he represents conservatism? Good luck with that.

I don’t know anything about Sandra Fluke. But I do know this. Her parents ought to be very proud of her courage and grace under fire. If she were my daughter, I would be.

Congresswoman Jackie Speier of California says these are the supporters of Rush’s show: Quicken Loans, Century21, LegalZoom and Sleep Number. She is asking the public to contact these companies to stop supporting his radio program and to hit the parent company where it hurts. And if you are outraged too, then go online and sign this petition asking Republican leaders to denounce Rush Limbaugh’s comments.

And oh, did I forget to mention? Clear Channel is owned by … Wait for it … Bain Capital.

Rush is going down and Fox is next!!!

Several of Rush Limbaugh's advertisers announced Friday that they were pulling their commercials from his radio show in the wake of Limbaugh's incendiary comments about a female law student and contraception.

After being bombarded on Twitter, mattress store Sleep Train said that it would no longer advertise during Limbaugh's top-rated show following days of outrage over Limbaugh's statements about Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown student who was denied a chance to speak at a Congressional hearing about birth control.

"We are pulling our ads with Rush Limbaugh and appreciate the community's feedback," the company wrote in a tweet.

Later on Friday, another mattress company, Sleep Number, announced through a spokeswoman that it had also pulled its ads from Limbaugh's show. So did companies Legal Zoom, Citrix and Quicken Loans.

All cited the nature of Limbaugh's statements, as well as the vociferous complaints they were getting, as the reason for their withdrawal of the ads.

Limbaugh called Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute," saying that she was having "so much sex" that she wanted the government to pay for her contraception. Then, he went further, saying, " if we're going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something for it. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch."

The comments elicited fierce condemnation from politicians and pundits, and a campaign began on Twitter to ask Sleep Train to pull its commercials from Limbaugh's show.

Clear Channel's Premiere Radio Networks Inc. hosts Limbaugh's program, one of the country's most popular talk radio shows. The company is supporting Limbaugh, whose on-air contract with Premiere runs through 2016.

your close; Rush was dead until 11:00 today when the Law Trollop went on 'The View'. Just like her legs, she opened herself to well deserved criticism by going on a talk show for money. Now, anything she says is nothing but political...likely her intent from the start

Rush has 18,000 different advertisers. It is CLAIMED that 38 of them dropped their ads in protest.

EVERY DAY, a hundred or more of Rush's advertisers leave, and are quickly replaced by others.(He's on hundreds of local stations.)

Olberturd, however, has no advertisers. That is why he is now on a station that has no listeners.
