Hello...

This is an awesome business to pursue. There are lots of women who want to owe these lovely coverings. But there are lots of scammers out here too...

Beware of the King of Pashmina, Hubert Headen, out of New York City. I placed an order with them back in January 2009 and had lots of difficulty recouping my merchandise. Even requested a refund of my money, but no luck. Am still out of $1500. So beware! He offers free pashmina scarves as a way to yield business. But those people are phonies.

Do not take a chance losing your money! You will be very, very sorry!

This whole conversation is nuts. Real pashmina scarfs would never sell for $2 a piece, even at wholesale bulk rates, not even a blend. You can only get machine made fakes (synthetic material) for that price. Real pashmina is expensive. Real hand loomed and hand stitched pashmina shawls are very expensive with retail prices between 300 and 800 dollars. Anyone who sells the crap you all are discussing as pasmina anything is a liar and a cheat.

Yes Obama, you are 100% correct. Sadly, most vendors outright lie and say they are pashmina or a "pashmina blend" and they are just liars. I tell my customers that what we are selling is a synthetic material. The scarves we sell at wholesalepashminascarves.com are a synthetic blend that is superior to the viscose material used by pretty much everyone else. Viscose is used mainly for suiting and not nearly as soft yet warm as the synthetic blend we use. It also has better color fastness, meaning it holds its color better after laundering, and doesn't pill (the little fabric beading that happens as a garment is used over time) and it holds its shape better and doesn't snag. It also has a better hand (or feel) and is very close to actual pashmina in its smooth silky feel. We also use a slightly heavier fabric weight. Fabric weight is a metric used when purchasing bulk fabric, and the heavier the fabric weight the more expensive the garment is. This of course leads to a much higher quality product, but most of my competitors get away with cheaper lower fabric weight because unless you compare them side by side a lot of customers don't realize, and shopping over the internet it is impossible to see the difference.
I see a lot of people have concerns about getting ripped off. We now accept paypal as part of our payment options. You don't need to actually open a paypal account to use it, you can still pay with your credit cards, but now the transaction goes through paypal and you get their buyer protection as well.
MY contact info is on the site, please feel free to contact us with any questions, and we look forward to doing business with all of you!

those paisley design pashmina products that is selling in US street and in the website like nywholesalescarves.com are availble in around 2 usd each at aliexpress.com . but mind it one thing, none of them are pashmina, what nywholesascarves selling is just dubious viscose and silk, if you lab test their products it will give you 0% pashmina and 0% wool.

As in the earlier post, DO NOT purchase from Hubert Headen...if he is still around. I doubt it. Surely the scam artist has been run out of town!

I was just riding down Metropolitan Ave in Brooklyn, NY today and I passed a "Pashmina" Warehouse. The website is www.pashminainc.com They look to be the same price though. Hmmmm, not sure if it's negotiable but definitely worth checking out. Good luck to you.
