FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cabrera Supports Governor Paterson’s Tax Cap
Waldo Cabrera, maverick Democratic candidate for New York’s 6th Assembly seat, has declared his support for Governor David Paterson’s property tax cap.“Property taxes are a major concern for the residents of our community,” said Cabrera,“No matter the neighborhood, in this uncertain economy homeowners need relief. I embrace Governor Paterson’s plan to limit property taxes and call on him to ensure that our school districts -- Brentwood, Bay Shore, Central Islip, Hauppauge, and Islip – receive adequate funding to meet the needs of all of our students. My opponent, Phil Ramos’ opposition to the tax cap once again illustrates his complete and total failure to recognize the needs of our community”

Thank God somebody gets it. I want my kids to get the best from school but we are going to have to leave Long Island if the taxes get any higher. There has to be a way to stop the huge increase every year. I'm for Waldo.

(Weird that somebody is named Waldo in 2008)

For six years Ramos has done nothing for us. Always unavailable. Now he opposes the tax cap. Time to kick him to the curb. I vote Waldo.

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Aquarius

With so much to do and so much on your mind, you may feel scattered today. It will be easy to forget dates and appointments, so consider setting an alarm to remind you of important meetings. You may be a bit over-extended and preoccupied at the same time. The telephone may be ringing constantly, providing yet another distraction. Try to focus.
