I call them every Friday. Problem is, I live in New York... my "representatives" don't care much about the Constitution. Why should they? The people that voted for them obviously don't, either.
You might then, explain to them how you were cool with the Patriot Act.....up until this President, but of course it isn't racially motivated....

I was never EVER "cool" with the patriot act. I didn't vote for Bush in either election. Didn't vote for Gore or Kerry, either.

This blind partisan support that both of these horribly corrupt parties enjoy from their legions of voters is the reason why the country is declining.

When Bush was attacking our civil liberties, spending at unsustainable levels, growing the government needlessly, and starting wars to benefit the military industrial complex... the left didn't like it, while the right looked the other way.

Now as Obama is attacking our civil liberties, spending at unsustainable levels, growing the government needlessly, and using the IRS/DOJ/NSA/etc. for political and/or nefarious purposes, we see the opposite reactions.

But the problem with that is... because Bush got away with all of that, Obama has free reign to do it himself without fear of any (real) negative consequence. Sure, he campaigned that he was going to "change" all of that, and be transparent, and blah blah blah... but once in office he has only grabbed Bush's torch and kept running in the same direction.

Obama, and his actions in office are a problem, to be sure. But not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that the next President will be able to get away with everything he gets away with... and more. Even if it's a republican.

Think about it. By being partisan lemmings for either party, we are only ensuring that each President WILL be worse than the last.

You know why the republicans are only paying lip service and holding dog & pony shows in response to the scandals? It's not because the scandals don't have merit, and it's not because they're incompetent. It is because they are going to enjoy doing all this when they get back in power.

You think they're not going to use the IRS to go after liberal groups? Think again. If caught, they'll trot out someone to plead the fifth (even though no one did anything wrong, wink wink) and claim this is a witch hunt. You know the playbook.

Just remember, everyone that only holds only one party accountable for their actions is actually holding neither party accountable for their actions.

Sorry, but your posts are toooooo long, at least for me.....About any political group, from either side, which applies for tax-free status, and still is politically funded, is outta line...according to this law's interpretation....But, i am still dismayed, that we aren't allowed a perview of every group investigated in the last 20 years....not just when we have an african-american President......like so many of the manufactured and exaggerated outrage and scandals.....

I know they are too long for you. You called me racist at the top of this page because I don't like the patriot act... so you're obviously not very bright.

My posts are for a sharper demographic than you.

We have a dictator at the moment.

Isn't that good enough for the inane liberals?
What more could anyone want?

Maybe improve a little bit and replace him with
a hot, huge pile of St Bernard dog shit?
Now THAT would be a super-duper improvement and
it wouldn't stink half as much.
