I will indeed explain. You are an ass-munch who can't even make one coherent point. The extent to which black academic performance is lagging behind that of other groups is, don;t you think, something which must be addressed culturally? Specifically, the notion that getting an education and leading a respectable life is "acting white" and that rejecting the white machine they're "keeping it real". The cult of the anti-intellectual in the hood is the reason why black and Hispanic kids do so much worse overall academically. Those who escape the clutches of the ghetto culture do as well as anyone. There are now many times more middle class blacks in America than ghetto blacks. Those that progressed to the middle classes and beyond were those that rejected the street culture and the "keeping it real" maxim.

i dont mind you pulling me up on my grammar unlike some people i am prepared to recognise my short comings and try to rectify it.the reason i say you are a powerless individual.is because people who come on internet forums and just bitch all the time.they come across as really small and frustrated...
Every insult you throw at me for contributing to an internet debate also applies to you, dumbass. I don't know why so many people try this pathetic tactic. "You're a loser for being on the internet". Right-o.

And if you had better literacy skills you might have been running your own firm now employing 50 men and engaging in bids for official contracts and that sort of thing. Bottom line is, if you want to excel in business you have to have good communication skills. Whatever you're doing to rectify them is a good thing, since without them you're limiting your potential severely.

Wow. Just, wow.

I can't believe the comments that have spawned from this one incident. The hatefulness, the racism, the negativity, the...everything is just damn sickening. But I know some people really enjoy the arguments that can be sparked online, because you can say what you want to say and not have to deal with any repercussions, or worry about people punching you in the face.

**I'll go on record as saying I'm a white chick right now**

William - I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Rap is doing a hell of a lot of harm to the world, but it's doing a lot of good too. I think maybe if you put yourself in someone else's shoes you might not be quite so hateful. I don't necessarily disagree with everything you say, you made some decent points, but the overbearing and just plain nasty manner in which you present yourself just isn't flattering. Have you ever walked a mile in someone's shoes? Have you ever lived 15 people crammed to a 2 bedroom apartment? Have you ever watched friends, families and loved ones killed or taken away one by one by violence, drugs, the law, etc? Yes, it's easy to say "they just need to rise above it" and all that but guess what? It's not that simple. After 100s of years of oppression, lack of opportunity, lack of justice - you really think 50 years of somewhat "decent" treatment will change things so drastically? White people and their oppression over the past few hundred years finally "put blacks in their place" and you're going to blame them for the condition of society?

And really, why is it a color thing anyway/ If anything, it's socio-economic - it's lower class, not black lower class, not hispanic lower class - the low class white trash are just as fucked as a kid growing up in the ghetto. So you tell me, you really think it's ALL on the black community?

Anyway, like I said, you made one or two fair points (when I could read through the hateful, illogical opinionated stuff) but you seem to lack in compassion and a basic understanding of human nature in general.

Jblaw - Jeez man, are you for real? I thought you had some good shit to say, but you lost your cool when William pissed you off. In case you missed it, the bible (well, the new testament esp) and Jesus Christ is all about LOVING THY NEIGHBOR - it says nothing of race, color or creed. Being as though I'm white, but have never considered myself a "white devil" I'm sad to know that many still feel this way. Please do not use the Word to further your religious and racist fervor against white folk - it's practically sacrilegious and it literally hurts to see the Words of our Lord and Savior used in such a way.

I definitely read some great things that opened my eyes and gave me a new perspective of things, so I'm glad I came across this crazy ass post.

I sincerely hope that many of you just like passing the time on here, and esp. you William, and you JBlaw, don't actually ACT like this in the real world. That would be ashame.

But on the other hand, shit, don't hide behind the computer - if it's how you really feel, get out there and tell people - who cares if they beat you down for your attitude and hatefulness - at least you told them how you really feel!

As for the whole ja and weezy thing - yeah, it sucks, but they got caught, dow they gotta pay the price. They got money ya'll, they'll be aight. If there's one thing that is true in this country it is that the law/jail is rarely very hard on any celebrity with enough money.

Just to be clear: I'm not trying in inflame anyone, I'm not calling anyone a loser for participating in this whole thing - I just felt strongly enough about something to finally post it. If you don't like what I said, fuck it. If you do like it, fuck it (but I'm glad).

Just know that I won't get involved in the whole back and forth flaming thing. I said my peace - my biggest hope is that maybe someone will get something out of what I said, a new perspective, SOMETHING. If not, so be it. I just wasted 15 minutes of work time. Whoops!

Just browsing through this forum with no intent to post, I ran across this comment from WILLIAM (Among MANY), and decided to drop him a line. WILLIAM, what kind of nut are you and who in HELL do you think you are? So what if grammer or spelling isn't one's forte? Does that give you reason to put your snout in the air and condemn and pass judgment? If you think you are so much better than ANYONE, with your sentence disecting obsession, you need to get your head out of your butt and smell yourself. You probably wash your fork everytime you take a bite of food, you fanatical, know nothing, think you know-it-all chump. Your need to put others down is indicative of a person of low self esteem, and the person you are trying to diss has more integrity in his little toe than you have in your big, empty head! By the way, I don't need spell check!!!
