General life experiences. She was raised in Alaska and her religious life started as a member of the RCC. Then she became Pentecostal. She playing guard on the high school basketball team placed third in a State beauty contest.

There is nothing in her education that stands out academently or qualifies her for a position in government at any level. A degree in journalism just isnt a good qualifier to enter politics with.
Experience after college:
Her only job was as a sports announcer. Her education has nothing to do with government, Law, political science, economics, or business. She simply was trained how to talk on TV and
Radio. She has helped in her husbands commercial fishing business.
She has had the witches prayed out of her.
Prior to being selected by McCain she had not traveled much other than to go to school in Hawaii for one semester and then in Idaho.
Palin's public service experience includes one term as council person and one term as mayor of Wasilla
(population less than 6,000).
She served a mere 20 months as Governor of Alaska (population just under 700,000). I cannot find anything
of note that she did as mayor or as Governor of Alaska that was new or of major importance. Nor was she considered
important in the National Governors Association. She did promote Oil and Gas explorations and chaired a commission.
She signed a record $6.6 billion operating budget into law. But later vetoed State projects that she had in the budget.
She tied to sell the State jet on ebay and later sold it for a loss of $600,000.00
Overall she did act responsible in controlling government spending when compared to the Alaskan governors before her.
Bridge to Nowhere: Palin ran for governor with a "build-the-bridge" plank in her platform and supported the project.
When the National spotlight focused on the project she switched in 2008 she came out with "thanks, but no thanks, on that bridge to nowhere."
But kept the money for Alaska. The whole state of Alaska population is just a little more than the population of the Denver, CO area.
I would hate to try to justify her as being qualified- now if Im missing something Im willing to know about it.
Now down the road qualifications:
She very likely will for President in the next election.
Then he (Obama) would have been President of the USA for four years and traveled the world as President. He has taken on the Republicans of the House & Senate without notes or without knowing the questions and made fools out of them.
What additional will she bring to the table:
She will have no further political experience but spent her time giving speeches and being on Fox News as a commentator.
She gives a speech full of one liners to a selected political groups but includes no details. Even then, what she says is not always true or correct but she only presents herself in an setting that she pre-knows the questions to be asked and knows she will not be pressed for details.
Right now she is in the position where she can criticize but when pushed for details nothing comes forth. Then she does not put herself in a postion to be pushed hard. She gets to play softball on Fox News.
Yet she without question has charisma and the Tea Party people love her. The religious nuts love her. The neo-cons of the right wing believe they can control her and will back her.
In the last election no one tried to peal the bark off her. Whether they can get her through a complete race for the Presidency without her having to stand on her own in front of critical questions where she has to come up with details is questionable. But Im sure they will try/
