"The student, who is not a minor"... So what's the problem ? If they're both of age, and he's not a teacher or administrator, I don't see what the prblem is. Am I alone in this ?

No, you are not alone. People of any age should have the right to consensual sex. The security guard did nothing wrong.

The Security Guard used his "nightstick" during horizontal patrol...seems that's frowned upon!

If she's in NY and only 16-17 years old, then she is a minor, and he should have been fired and also be charged with Statutory rape....

The article doesn't mention the age, but it DOES SAY that they are BOTH of legal age (which is 17 in New York). So what's the problem here ???

Why is this note-worthy? Don't you people have anything important to be doing? Who pays your bills? Are you all on government entitlements? People, let's all go out and do something meaningful and worthwhile.

It didn't indicate that they were having sex WHILE he was on the the job. I think they both have grounds for a good lawsuit.

I remember a big thing in the newspaper a year or so ago, where a teacher was fired for having sex with an underage student. Why apparently NOBODY investigated the case thorougly first, before firing the teacher, I don't know. Because it turned out that the person she was having sex with was 20 YEARS OLD, and was NOT a student. And the newspaper had it as front page news, "teacher has sex with underage student". It simply wasn't tue.

I think the 2 people in this case should sue.

Incidentally, regarding the story about the teacher and "student" I was referring to, it has a rather bizarre twist. The guy's name is Joshua Walter, and apparently modeling didn't pay too well for him because he became a serial street thug and armed robber, holding up a bout a score of bodega's, delis, and 7-11's.

He was arrested and charged with scores of violent crimes, but I was unable to find out what the resolution of those cases were, IF they have been resolved at all.(He can strut his stuff in the cellblock now I guess).
