Let's not mistake this as "best" movies of all time Top 5. Quite often my favorite movies are pretty bad, maybe even terrible depending on who you ask. Favorites are favorites, no matter the quality. With that...

1. Jaws
2. Terms of Endearment
3. Dumb and Dumber
4. Up
5. The Godfather

What are yours?

Gunga Din might have been the best action flick of all time. The year 1939 was golden in Hollywood.

Strangers on a Train is a haunting movie.

This is eerie ... I was going to post the same list, except Shawshank instead of Terminator.

Shawshank was one hell of a movie, too.

Love the Ted Knight quote. I think I can recite the entire movie!

<quoted text> Do you mean the weatherman from the Mary Tyler Moore Show?
The "...so I got that goin' for me" is actually Bill Murray.

But the other quotes were Ted Knight who also played the weatherman from MTM.

Best quote from that show - Ted Knight to Walter Conkrite, "What words to you have trouble pronouncing?". Classic.
