What Eric the Great needs to realize is that there are a whole lot more gun owners than there are mayors. Very few mayors have little influence outside their bubble of yes men that surround them.
Eric the great needs to come clean with Fast & Furious before he deals with gun bans. What did Fast & Furious do to stop gun violence?

It was gun control that facilitated the shooter at Sandy Hook school...only he was armed because schools are by law gun free zones.
The lockdown (designed by police) also facilitated the shooter, as his victims were forced by design to remain inside the gun free zone (LOL).
Eric Holder, like most cops, is incompetent.

"What did Fast & Furious do to stop gun violence?"
Nothing...It wasn't designed to. It was meant to push American guns into Mexico and be traced back to the United States. This was a plan that aided and bolstered the requested requirement of reporting to the ATF multiple purchases of certain long guns in the border states;
"The anticipated requirement for Federal Firearms Licensees to report multiple sales of certain rifles in four border states has been defined in a July 12 memo signed by Charles Houser, Chief, National Tracing Center, mandating":
You must submit to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) reports of multiple sales or other dispositions whenever, at one time or during any five consecutive business days, you sell or otherwise dispose of two or more semi-automatic rifles capable of accepting a detachable magazine and with a caliber greater than .22 (including .223/5.56 caliber) to an unlicensed person. You are required to report all such sales that occur on or after August 14, 2011. You must continue reporting multiple sales for the rifles subject to this demand letter until we provide written notice to stop."
ATF E-Form 3310.12 Revised July 2011;
