I need more than 10 bullets to kill a deer

First, I've never done it before so I'm sure my aim will be bad. Second, the deer will run when he hears the gun fire.

I'm guessing it'll take 30 to 40 shots unless I can somehow corner the animal.

After months of doing this and practice, I can probably get it down to under 10 bullets.

Or you could sit in a tree with a billy club and when the deer gets under you, jump on its back and beat it to death with the club. lol

But seriously, an individual should be allowed to choose for himself (or herself) what works best for them.

Actually, deer will tend to "freeze" after a shot that misses while they try to figure out what direction it came from as it echoes off trees & such.

As for jumping them in hand-to-hand combat, we find garrotting them with piano wire is more effective.

And yes, New Yorkers have clearly saddled themselves with a prize bunch of idiots in Albany this season.
