I love the libtard "wretched excess". First it legislates ethanol for environmental friendliness. Than complains about the food prices. Than it pukes all over the place about the environment yet again, but wants to burn gas as s usual. Typical two faced sc\/mbags.

^^I love how the two moronic political parties bicker, point fingers and calling each other names while the poor citizens of this country prepare for $5 gas. Fix the freaking problem dumb dumbs.

Not only is are your English and spelling horrible (a sign of your good education) but you are unable to prove any of the things you write.

Liberals do not want to burn gas as usual, nor do they complain about food prices...nor does the current minimal use of ethanol influence food prices a bit.

What you write really is silly.

I sold my car. I'm only using taxi's now. Don't have to worry about finding a parking space or getting a ticket from a aggressive cop. No more big insurance premiums. Also I don't have to buy a new expensive care anymore as well.

You ain't seen nothin' yet. Most people don't realize that large consumers of motor fuel/diesel have fixed price motor fuel contracts that run out and have to be renewed. Most major users are paying old fixed prices. Wait till you see what happens when each contract runs out. The price of food will go through the roof, stamps will cost 75 cents each all products will probably rise at least 25%. Meanwhile, we have 3 political candidates that seem to be blind to the problem. Happy landings!

I'm not sure where you get that idea, but it isn't true. These markets became volatile years ago. Nobody would have been dumb enough to sign on to a fixed price deal. Any term deals are done off some sort of floating basis. Your information is simply incorrect.

Everybody's paying lip service to this, no one seems to really be willing to change their habits. I put the cruise on 65, stay in the middle lane and try to stay out of the way of the SUVS weaving in and out, doing 80mph. Believe me, NOBODY is behind me. I think it's got to get to 6-7 bucks a gal before we'll see any changes.

GET EDUCATED-"The minimal use of ethanol" HAS impacted the price of ALL corn based products you moron. Farmers in this country who are paid subsidies are now forgoing those subsidies and growing massive amounts of corn to fuel ethanol mandated by the dopes in Congress! Each of our wonderfuly selected candidates continue to talk about the need for ethanol, however, the problem is that it takes 2 gallons of GAS to make one gallon of ethanol. DOPES

Why are they not interviewing the politicians? I would love to hear from them. Bush is ruining this country and I saw on CNN he was going to Iraq to discuss the gas issue and then nothing. They knew they had a gas problem in the 70's yet nothing was done. We are just putting money in the President and his friends pockets.

I drive a 4 cylinder car and spend a little over $30 every other week on gas. I take public transportation to work every day which costs me about $140 per month. And every payday, I laugh all the way to the bank as I deposit money into my savings account.

Moral of the story: stop complaining and be responsible. Keep driving your gas guzzling SUV's and HUMMERS, and you might as well leave your wallet at the Sunoco station and show up every payday to replinish it.

As far as I'm concerned, gas can go to $10 per gallon, and it will have little impact on me. If I won an SUV in a lottery, I'd buy a stick of dynamite and blow the freakin thing up. LMAO!

Suozzi can take political advantage of high gas prices by arranging with the police for the distribution of low cost gas caps with locks. This will increase the visability of the police to the general public and mend any bad tastes between the police and Suozzi.

But that won't happen. It makes too much sense, and if it does, the government won't do it.

Otherwise, there is going to be alot of sucking in the future.

Long Islanders are paying hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars a year in school taxes which are funding fradulent pensions for greedy school administrators. What's another few bucks at the gas pump?
