That's right. That's what he was asking. And he asked if you opposed it. Not if you thought it was illegal. We all know it's illegal.

That's illegal dude, due to viability laws.
We know dude! He wasn't asking about legality. He was asking why you opposed it if in fact you did not consider the fetus to be a person with any rights until birth. You cited viability.
So do you oppose it because it's illegal....or do you oppose it on principle or moral grounds ? Suppose that RVW never addressed viability ? Suppose RVW made abortion under all circumstances LEGAL at any point ? Would you oppose it at that late stage or would you not ?

Don't confuse yourself here, keep on point.

In case you forgot, the D&X procedure was criminalized and hasn't been reportedly used for the past few years. You should be pleased. Quit posting as if this reality was unknown to you.

How many times I gotta say I oppose it before you learn I fn oppose it, Doc? What is wrong with you that you're incapable of realizing I'm opposed to most illegal activity? I say most specifically because of abortion. Certain prohibitions do not work or bring about the desired outcome.

You wanting to criminalize abortion is just repeating history.

When are you ready to move on, Doc? To discuss something interesting, something new?

Are you saying Jesus' crucifixion was preordained? The final sacrifice to end all sacrifices because some were against sacrificing live animals and/or people? And for this, he was made mankind's savior, to save mankind from his own sin? Well, if mankind has faith and believes...
Yes it was, becouse bulls blood and goats blood never took sin away, it only moved it forward, and yet even then people didn't do it, or brought sick goats that were dying anyways. Jesus walked right through many who wanted Him dead.

He WILLINGLY died on the cross for YOU.

Now I am just telling you that there is a God, and that God is Holy, and demands perfection to enter Heaven.

There is No way we can be perfect.

It has nothing to do with how many sins (small s) we have done. Noone is beyound saving.

It is about Sin (capital S) that seperates us from a Holy God.

So someone tells you how God provided a perfect sacrifice, for once and all, and tells you how it is a free gift (not by works), eph 2:8-9

Simple enough for the humble hearts of a child, but hard for big smart adults.

Okay, that's Elise's opinion. Mine is different.
Different doesn't equal wrong, JM.
If you insist on dragging this hypothetical back out, here's the full answer. Just remember, it was you in your last post to me that did not include my FULL answer and focused only on cord being attached.
Why bother wasting my time when you put out my answer piece by piece? What a doofus thing to do, JM.
Technically, fetus becomes baby once the cord is cut and baby's taken its first breath. That's the answer to the hypothetical. This is based on the medical technicality that a stillborn is delivered when it's not taken any breath and is considered dead whether it's still attached to the umbilical cord or not.
Remember, you're the one who tried to convolute two different basic concepts. And here, you're doing it again. All while pointing your finger at me and claiming I'm playing word games.

The is the DUMBEST attempt at reasoning with which to base you STUPID and unsubstantiated claim.

No, Katie, a stillborn is born dead. It died BEFORE birth. It was NEVER alive at birth, so it died as a fetus. That's what STILL born means. It wasn't born alive and is why it never breathed.

A child born ALIVE and still attached to the cord even if not breathing is a newborn infant, not a fetus.

How many times do I need to say my personal opinion of the ZEF doesn't matter? Your personal opinion of the ZEF doesn't matter? So long as the laws are based on medical facts and not some individual's idea of morality, that's all that matters. This is a country where we're supposed to govern ourselves. Quit trying to govern pregnant women and their ZEFs.

You're trying to convolute my answer to a hypothetical question made a year or so ago by comparing it with Elise's personal opinion. Ridiculous, JM. Stop, you're getting goofy here.
Opinions are ignorant and STUPID when they're based on the ignorance with which you base all of yours.

It certainly is a wrong opinion when you make it based on utter lunacy and not on fact.

Your fellow fundies on here often claim we're going going to burn in hell for just about everything, but someone mocks your God by speaking as him and using his name and that's fine with the fundies. More and more I learn fundie self-righteous and moral outrage is very selective.
Well in the last month or so since I've been on this topic, I've seen Gods name throwed ever which a way by your friends (those who agree with you), and you only bring it up, when soneone doesn't agree with you.

That's an example of being selective.

But hey I have learned how to use doesn't , so I'm teachable (:

The answer was based on a medical technicality, but you can call delusional if you want. It's what you're familiar with after all.
Besides I didn't have to prove anything to anyone. It was an answer to a hypothetical question asked over a year ago or so. And it's been dissected long enough.
If you still don't understand it after all this time, it's doubtful you ever will.
The "technicality" you spoke of was of a fetus born DEAD, you moron. That's what stillborn is. If the child is alive when born and die afterward, even if cord is attached and they never took a breath, the INFANT died AT birth. It wasn't a fetus that died AT birth.

Not for days, no, because I had my own children and my grandchildren coming over to stay for the holidays that week and I was going to appreciate my time spent with them. I did shed tears for the lost children and their families the day it happened, though. So? I'm not a PCer who claims it's okay to kill children depending on location, size or whether or not they're wanted.

Where did I say ANYTHING about what this guy "enjoyed"? Why do you lie?
You are apparently too stupid to understand what a semi-automatic weapon with a high capacity clip is all about. You obviously do not get why not everyone should have a gun. You ignored what the SCOTUS said about the 2nd amendment. Since you are THAT stupid, you are not capable of participating in this discussion. You have your nonsensical opinion memorized and will continue to parrot it no matter what factual information is presented to prove you are WRONG.
SO you and that other moron can just keep right on whining about how a gun ban won't work and the second amendment is absolute and sacred, while the guns get banned and the ban DOES work. No one really cares what you say because you are simply WRONG.
I meant to say this guy "WHO " enjoyed........
My bad. Not a lie, just didn't write it proper.
I do know alot about semi -auto guns. I own one, and had one at 8 years old.

I don't believe everyone should own a gun.

I don't believe all guns should be taken away.

If that ever went through, you can forget about ANY rights being safe.
They will not be worth the paper they are written on.

You and other would still have fought for the rights to end the life of those very kids before they were born.

The reason you can't see that the guy who did the shooting was sining, and that abortion is sin is becouse you and him would have alot in common.

You're missing the point, imo. It's a potential person until a successful birth is complete. It doesn't matter what people hold has their own personal opinions regarding ZEFs. There are laws surrounding late and later term abortions restricting it based on ZEF's determind viability. Later term abortions are used continuously by the PLM as if these were mainstream, common, miniature newborns being massacred in their cloud of a womb. Reality shows less than 2% of all annual abortions are later term.
Katie, "It's a potential person until a successful birth is complete."

Wrong, it's legally a person the second that body exits the mother's body, cord attached or not, breathing yet or not. As long as that child is born alive, it's legally a "person".

You're a fool who knows nothing. You not only can't prove that stupid claim, you will now claim it as opinion when you wrote it as a statement of fact.

I am glad for you that your belief is strong.

I learned this concept years ago and have contemplated it enough to now call myself agnostic. I am a big believer in spirituality, but not necessarily in any one religion. I accept and understand others believe differently. I take strong exception to those who wish to revert back to creating laws based on the Christian religion here in America when there is definitely supposed to be a line drawn between church and state.

I know enough of the Catholics' involvement in our politics and social programs to be aware there needs to be a big overhaul regarding the Church's tax exemptions. Especially when they're running full blown corporations and benefiting from corporate welfare as well.
