The Savage Slice'em up Quick clan
A 20-year-old student went on a building-to-building stabbing attack at a Texas community college Tuesday, wounding at least 14 people ? many in the face and neck ? before being subdued and arrested, authorities said Tuesday.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that Dylan Quick had been planning the attack at the Lone Star College System's campus in Cypress for some time and had fantasies of stabbing people to death since he was in elementary school.
Quick, who was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, used a razor-type knife, and piece of the blade was found in at least one victim, the sheriff's office said. Broken blade pieces also were found in the area where the stabbing occurred, and the handle was discovered in a backpack that Quick was carrying when he was arrested.
Authorities were seen entering Quick's parents' home in a middle-class neighborhood of Houston on Tuesday night. No one answered the door or the phone at the red brick home, where two vehicles were parked in the driveway, including a Honda Accord with a license plate that said "DYLAN." It was not immediately known if Quick had an attorney.

The fake druggie cancer clan

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y.- A New York woman who allegedly faked cancer sought donations from supermarket shoppers and others to support her heroin addiction in what a prosecutor said was "a despicable scam," according to an indictment unsealed Wednesday.

Brittany Ozarowski, 21, was charged in Suffolk County with 24 counts including grand larceny in the third degree.

Prosecutors said Ozarowski left donor jars at Nassau and Suffolk county businesses and hit up supermarket shoppers for money. She also scammed her father and grandmother, who sold her house and gave Ozarowski more than $100,000, District Attorney Thomas Spota said.

"This defendant perpetrated a despicable scam," he said. "There was no cancer, no chemotherapy or radiation. All there was was heroin and more heroin."

The Bad son clan

There's a lot of ways you can disappoint your mother: tweeting racist bullshit, evicting her on her birthday, insisting she only communicate with you over Twitter. But it's hard to top robbing and beating the poor woman who gave you life: according to SILive, 21-year-old Jonathan Mitchell and his 22-year-old girlfriend Lauren Cavallo impersonated cops, beat up Mitchell's 55-year-old mother Larraine Merced, then robbed her of $400. "He's stolen from me before, but I never thought he'd do something like this," Merced said of her son.

The incident took place around 9 p.m. on Monday at Merced's New Dorp apartment—Mitchell and Cavallo allegedly pretended to be police to get inside, yelling, "Police! Open up the door! If you don't open the door, we will take the door down!" Cops say that Cavallo then attacked the mom, punching her in the face and stomach, bruising her and splitting her lip. The two took Merced's pocketbook, stealing $400 in cash and a bank debit card.

Mitchell and Cavallo didn't get very far—they were arrested by 9:40 p.m. that night. Both gave statements to police: "It's my money. It's my mom's money. I hold it because she loses everything," said Mitchell, according to SILive's sources. "I was there. I wanted to talk to my mother but she wouldn't talk to me." Cavallo took full responsibility for the robbery: "I admit to doing everything. He didn't do anything."

Both have been charged with second-degree robbery, second- and third-degree assault, second-degree criminal impersonation and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. No word on whether Mitchell will be charged with first degree YOU'RE KILLING YOUR MOTHER STOP IT ALREADY.

Another tale from the savage hillbillies

The Savage Tick Tock clan

One of the managers of NJ's famous Tick Tock Diner in Clifton was arrested for allegedly plotting to kill his uncle. NJ Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa said of George Spyropoulos, "He was motivated by greed."

Spyropoulos managed the Clifton location, while his uncle Alexandros Sgourdos manages a location in Manhattan and co-owns both restaurants. Chiesa said, "Spyropoulos allegedly planned in great detail how he would have his uncle tortured, robbed and murdered and he enlisted two men who he thought would carry out his ruthless plot."

The 45-year-old spoke to a man—who actually turned out to be a NJ State Police informant—about the dirty deed. The Star-Ledger reports, "He allegedly asked that man... to help him find someone who would kill his uncle after torturing him to obtain the combination to the safe his uncle kept inside his Clifton home,[State Police Detective Pete] Laying said. Spyropoulos believed the safe contained a large amount of cash, according to Chiesa and that his uncle was taking home an unfair share of the restaurants' profits."

Then the informant put him in contact with a hitman, who was actually a NJ State Trooper. The authorities say that Spryopoulos agreed to pay him $20,000 to kill, rob and torture his uncle, with a down payment of $3,000. Spyropoulos also asked the hitman to kill his uncle's wife if she saw anything and to make his uncle's body disappear, so it would look like a missing person case.

After Spyropoulos was arrested, troopers found two semiautomatic handguns, a shotgun and an assault-style rifle. Chiesa's office adds, "A search of his vehicle, a silver Mercedes Benz, revealed six cell phones and several thousand dollars in cash. It is not clear what the large number of phones were used for."

Another tale from the savage hillbillies
The Savage Hermit and the 1,000 burglaries clan
A man who lived like a hermit for decades in a makeshift camp in the central Maine woods, who may be responsible for more than 1,000 burglaries for food and other staples, has been captured, authorities said.
Christopher Knight, 47, was arrested last week when he tripped a surveillance sensor set up by a game warden while stealing food from a youth camp in Rome, state police say in a court affidavit.
Authorities on Tuesday found the campsite where they believed Knight — known as the North Pond Hermit in local lore— has lived for 27 years.
Residents of the town with a year-round population of about 1,000 say they've been aware of the hermit for years, often in connection with break-ins that have occurred. Some have spotted him walking along the side of the lake known as Great Pond and others have seen his living quarters, which include a tent covered by tarps suspended between trees, a bed, propane cooking stoves and a battery-run radio.
"Anybody that's hunted in the woods has seen a pile of rubble but didn't think anything of it," Ron Churchill, owner of Bear Spring Camps in Rome, said Wednesday. Employees who maintain his camp's lakeside cabins have seen the man thought to be the hermit in the past.
Churchill said his business has lost propane containers to thefts, the latest of which were discovered Wednesday.
"I did an inventory this morning and we're missing two," Churchill said.
Paul Anderson, a selectman in the town about 20 miles northwest of Augusta, acknowledged local talk about a man living alone in the woods.
"I've lived in the town for 32 years and I've never, ever met the guy," said Anderson.
Knight was arrested last Thursday as he left the Pine Tree Camp for children with disabilities with $283 worth of food, state Trooper Diane Vance said in her affidavit filed in Kennebec County Superior Court. Vance said Knight told her he had broken into the camp about 50 times since he began living in the woods in 1986.
An electronic sensor had been set up in the camp by game warden Sgt. Terry Hughes, who had developed an interest in the pattern of burglaries years ago.

NYPD detectives are hunting for the sicko SAVAGE featured in surveillance footage molesting a Manhattan woman walking her dog during a botched gunpoint robbery, law enforcement sources said today.

The unidentified man confronted his 28-year-old victim on East 27th Street near Third Avenue around 1:50 a.m. Saturday after she had returned home with her boyfriend after a night out on the town and took her dog for a stroll, sources said.

The child porn clan

BOSTON -- A Utah man charged with viewing child pornography on a Boston-bound commercial flight won't have to serve his jail sentence if he sticks to the terms of his probation.

Prosecutors say 50-year-old Salt Lake City resident Grant Smith pleaded guilty Thursday to possessing child pornography.

A Boston judge suspended Smith's 2 1/2-year sentence and placed him on five years' probation.

Smith must continue sex offender treatment, comply with Utah sex offender registry requirements and follow restrictions on contact with children and Internet use.

Prosecutors say a fellow first-class passenger saw Smith viewing pornographic computer images of young girls during a November 2011 flight. The passenger took a cellphone photo of the images and alerted a flight attendant.

Smith was arrested in Boston and initially pleaded not guilty. He resigned his job as a University of Utah engineering professor.

The ignorant racist KKK Klan

A Long Island golfer had an on-course meltdown when he screamed racist abuse at two black players before attacking one of them with a club, police said.

Grant Smith, 48, allegedly lost his mind after the duo, aged 66 and 65, slowed down his game on the White Course at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York, on Tuesday.

NBC4 reports Smith, who is white, shouted at the pair demanding to be allowed to play through.

When his request fell on deaf ears, he upped the ante by screaming that they didn't have any golf etiquette.

One of the men made an obscene gesture at Smith, who is then accused of flying into a rage - using the "n-word" at least three times in a vicious tirade.

He is then said to have grabbed a club and swung it at one of the men, hitting him in the leg.

The savage road rage clan

CENTRAL ISLIP -- A Long Island man is facing charges in an alleged road rage incident.

Police say 25-year-old Jason Parker, of Central Islip, beat up another driver on the Long Island Expressway last week.

According to authorities, Parker attacked the man after smashing his car window with a baseball bat around 8:30 a.m. last Wednesday.

The incident was apparently sparked when the victim changed lanes and noticed Parker's BWM was tailgating him.

When the victim exited the highway, Parker allegedly cut off his vehicle, stopping traffic and causing two other vehicles to crash.

Parker then drove off, but not before the victim wrote down his license plate number.

A witness also took a picture of Parker with a cell phone camera.

Parker was arrested Sunday morning.

He is charged with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The charlie brown clan

A Charlie Brown voice actor pleaded guilty Wednesday to stalking and threatening a former girlfriend. According to People on April 11, Peter Robbins faces up to three years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of making threats and stalking an ex-girlfriend.

Peter Robbins, who was the voice actor for Charlie Brown in many of the early "Peanuts" episodes, including "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", was arrested in January and charged with threatening and stalking his girlfriend and her plastic surgeon. According to reports, Robbins paid to have his ex-girlfriend's breasts enhanced, but apparently didn't like the end results.

After his relationship ended with the former girlfriend due to alleged domestic violence, Robbins reportedly threatened and stalked both the girlfriend and her plastic surgeon in an attempt to get his money back. Prosecutors said that Robbins called the ex-girlfriend more than 30 times in a 24-hour period, threatening to kill her and her son. Prosecutors also said that he called the plastic surgeon's office so many times that she moved to a hotel and hired an armed guard.

Rapt jurors yesterday watched surveillance video of the chilling moment that a Brooklyn mom was fatally struck by stray gunfire and slowly fell over into a pool of her own blood.

The disturbing evidence was made public at the trial of the two men accused of killing Zurana Horton from a Brownsville rooftop in 2011.

Horton, 34, was walking with one of her 12 children when Andrew Lopez, 20, fired from the rooftop on the orders of his brother Jonathan Carrasquillo, 24, prosecutors charge.

A Manhattan man went wild in Central Park yesterday, smashing a police van with a tree branch and swimming out to an island in the Harlem Meer, where he spent 90 minutes singing and shouting before cops — 15 of them — nabbed him.

Alionme "ZCs" Dieng, 25, began his rampage at 10:30 a.m., and stripped to his undies on the islet, witnesses said.

After ranting more, he dove back in to the water.

“He went in with shorts,” said witness James Miller,“but he didn’t come out with shorts.”
