DWI crash: Peter Cha & Adam Tanklowitz drive drunk, crash

Two 19-year-old drivers, both intoxicated, were involved in a collision in Levittown early Sunday, police said.

Police said Peter Cha of Blackbird Lane, Levittown, and Adam Tanklowitz of Aberdeen Street, East Meadow, collided at about 2 a.m. at the intersection of Bluespruce and Wolcott roads.

Both of their vehicles sustained extensive front-end damage, police said, and Cha’s 2003 Toyota ended up on the front lawn of a residence.

Both were charged with driving while intoxicated and driving an uninsured motor vehicle and were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead Sunday, police said.
