I don't know how to say this in Pirate and I can't believe I have to explain it but since MTV hasn't really delved into the country genre and many who watch those retched shows have never heard of her, now they have and if she sells one record (or whatever it is they sell nowadays) it was a success. couple that with the inevitable duet you know they'll record together and you have gold. and that's what it all about. arrrgh

I'll put $$ on it. this was a publicity grab for West, I would be stunned if Swift had a part in it.

There is just no way Swift is ever doing a Duet with West.

More Likely The Dixie Chicks will have W as their special guest on stage.

james, "no way" does not explain your point. why not? and the publicity was for taylor. i, for one never heard of her until that show. i thought taylor swift was a porn star.
why would you be stunned? MTV is doing things that Stun you? seriously. think about it. when was the last time MTV did anything organically? why did the guy i know who was working as a seat filler tell me the whole thing was set up. the security switched their positions minutes before. you think it was a coincidence that taylor just happened to changed dresses and just happened to put on the same color dress as beyonce? Virtually everythg done in the entertainment biz is scripted. unless you're gonna tell me madonna kissing britney was spontaneous. then it's worse than i thought.
oh and another coincidence, leno's debut show was on the next nite. who are his guests? kanye and beyonce's husband. hmmmmm. maybe you're right
