Why is Billboard always promoting lame K-pop music?

I agree that the Psy song is weak and only the video is catchy. The Economist wrote about these K-pop companies and said they have to export their product in order to survive. There's too much piracy in Korea and China. So it would not surprise me if these companies were greasing palms here to make money.

No argument here on that. Hell even Japan has better artists then Korea with a few exceptions. Although they don't get anywhere the exposure PSY does. You want to talk about talent you get some one like Hime which is a Japanese underground rapper which is out of this world. She would bury PSY without even trying. Hell even Korea has better K-Hop artists like Tasha, E.via, & Lexy to name a few. Why did it have to an overweight middle aged man riding an invisible horse, how embarrassing. Agree with the last comment as well. ITunes destroyed the recording artist as we now see the singles artist. Wow that is almost as bad if not worse lol.
