Jesus was Jewish and fulfilled all of the prophecies concerning the Messiah with the rest to be fulfilled when He comes again. Jesus IS the Messiah. I appreciate Jews for Jesus for telling the truth.

patricia. i am jewish, and an educated one at that. believe me when i tell you that any individual who believes that jesus was/ is the messiah cannot, i repeat, CANNOT, be jewish. don't tell me, someone who is jewish, how my religion functions and under which pretenses that it does so. jews for jesus is a cult at best. do not confuse a well anchored, documented, and literary religion with something such as jfj.

Any reference that the new testament portion bible is authentic is simply wrong. Even if parts are accurate, Elaine Pagels has exposed the truth behind how and why the bible was put together. The new testament was forged to make it appear as though Jesus fulfilled the prophecies. It is the biggest scandal in history and reflects the true nature of mankind. Power corrupts.

Except...Jews for Jesus started out as a Christian group, but found they could "recruit" more jews by calling themselves Jews for Jesus. If you're Jewish, there are certain acts that must be brought about by the Messiah (for example, peace on earth and the mass resurrection of the dead). Clearly Jesus did not fulfill these. So if you believe Jesus i the messiah, it would be contradictory to also consider yourself Jewish.

The reason there is reference to Jesus in the Koran is because the Koran was written AFTER the supposed time of Jesus.

Jesus was not Moschiach because he (if he even existed) did not fulfill the requirements. You CAN'T get around that one.

Plus I LOVE how people try to say that Jesus is decended from David, proving his Jewish heritage. Joseph was supposedly decended from David and as Joseph was NOT his father and the fact that Jewish heritage is determined by the MOTHER, this blows their theories out of the water.

When we all are dead. Religious belief has a subconscious foundation in ego. Humans all want to be right, especially when dealing something that has such tremendous control over other humans.
