The IRS and DOJ tactics are nothing new for Obama.
And now we learn that the Obama administration wanted to keep the DOJ warrant on the FOX news guy secret, probably so they can continue their war on FOX.

The plot sickens even further:
"Former IRS chief Doug Shulman’s wife works with a liberal lobbying group, Public Campaign, where she is the senior program advisor. Public Campaign is an “organization dedicated to sweeping campaign reform that aims to dramatically reduce the role of big special interest money in American politics.”
"The goal of Public Campaign is to target political groups like the conservative non-profits at issue in the IRS scandal."

the whole thing is just a disgrace, just like feinstein using her power to make her family rich http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/blum....
you have holder who has lied to congress multiple times, yet no punishment,
you have Obama who has misled the American people time after time and who is responsible for 4 dead Americans in Benghazi yet he covered it up along with the corrupt media led by candy Crowley's CNN.
you have the IRS scandal which is a total disgrace,
fast and furious where people died because of this botched operation.
it just doesn't end, this administration and the democratic party have will do anything to fill their pockets and increase their power, no matter what the consequences.

WASHINGTON (AP)- Some of President Barack Obama's political appointees, including the Cabinet secretary for the Health and Human Services Department, are using secret government email accounts they say are necessary to prevent their inboxes from being overwhelmed with unwanted messages, according to a review by The Associated Press.
The scope of using the secret accounts across government remains a mystery: Most U.S. agencies have failed to turn over lists of political appointees' email addresses, which the AP sought under the Freedom of Information Act more than three months ago.
The Labor Department initially asked the AP to pay more than $1 million for its email addresses.
>>So the price of transparency in the Obama administration starts at 1 million dollars.

The country's tepid growth in its gross domestic product isn't creating enough good jobs to build a strong middle class, according to a UCLA report released Wednesday.
"Growth in GDP has been positive, but not exceptional," UCLA economists wrote in their quarterly Anderson Forecast. "Jobs are growing, but not rapidly enough to create good jobs for all."
The report, which analyzed long-term trends of past recoveries, found that the long-anticipated "Great Recovery" has not yet materialized.
Real GDP growth — the value of goods and services produced after adjusting for inflation — is 15.4% below the 3% growth trend of past recoveries, wrote Edward Leamer, director of the UCLA Anderson Forecast. More robust growth will be necessary to bring this recovery in line with previous ones.
"It's not a recovery," he wrote. "It's not even normal growth. It's bad."

The plight of a dying 10-year-old girl in urgent need of a lung transplant has been taken up by some GOP lawmakers, and it’s shining a light on what critics say is a questionable policy that puts children further down the waiting list.
The family of the Pennsylvania girl, Sarah Murnaghan, has garnered the media spotlight, on cable news and in other outlets. And some GOP congressmen have joined the fray, quite literally “begging” HHS Secretary SS Kathleen Sebelius to intervene and save the girl’s life. Both Pennsylvania senators — a Democrat and a Republican — have also written on the child’s behalf.
“I’m begging you,” Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.) told Sebelius at a House hearing Tuesday morning, asking her to suspend the transplant rules until they can be revisited.“Sarah has three to five weeks to live. Time is running out.” The child has cystic fibrosis.
At the hearing, Sebelius called the situation “agonizing” and said she had talked to the girl’s mother. "She has ordered a review of the policy, which she acknowledged would take too long to have any impact on this girl’s situation, but said it wasn’t her place to pick and choose transplant recipients." - change out the last two words to concentration camp victims.
SS Sebelius is todays Dr. Mengele.

so now Obama appoints Susan rice to be national security adviser, perfect appointment for a president that values lies and incompetence as virtues.
and the NSA is collecting our phone records, would not be surprised to find out that they are only looking at conservatives.
not that the corrupt mainstream media will ever say much, they are not much more then propaganda machines.
Obama has demonstrated himself to be exactly what I thought he would be when he took office, the most corrupt and incompetent president in the history of America.
#385 Jun 6, 2013
as corrupt and incompetent as our president is, the corrupt mainstream media is even worse, led by the corrupt Candy Crowley's CNN, they have not broken one scandal,
#386 Jun 6, 2013
maybe because some of these "scandals" are not a big deal to some people...who can tell what's being over played...
there was a poll last week asking american people what concerned them the most, economy/unemployment or benghazi....
80% said economy/unemployment, only 20% choose benghazi.
#387 Jun 6, 2013
the Russians gave us the intelligence to stop the Boston bombing, but this administration failed,
meanwhile they leave no stone unturned in digging into the private affairs of innocent American citizens, and i am sure, that should they find out these citizens are on the right, they will not stop at anything to attack and persecute those on the right.
#388 Jun 6, 2013
I am sure that many Americans also are more concerned about the economy then any number of crimes, including murders, but I am sure that none of them would want those crimes to go unpunished, just like those guilty in these scandals need to be punished as well.

The New York Times actually said that Obama has lost all credibility, unfortunately, the ny times has also lost all credibility with their total failure to accurately and fairly report the news up to this point. the times now basically has become a propaganda machine for the democratic party.
and this is the classic too little, too late to save their reputation.

It is a sad commentary on today's America that our government blatantly and repeatedly lying to us to try to lead us to believe that the war on terror had been won (in front of an election)... is "not a big deal."
There was a time when the American people could and did believe in their government. As you have pointed out, those days are over. Today it is all about partisanship. If Bush did this, the people who think it is "not a big deal" would be irate. Most of the people that are mad about it would have thought it was "not a big deal" if it had been Bush guilty of these nefarious lies.
Obama and the Democrats "won" this time. They get off scott free even though it is blatantly obvious that they mislead us with a preposterous story of a youtube video.
Congratulations, your corrupt political party won, America lost.
I find it astounding that you partisan democrats & republicans don't see what is going on here. These "scandals" have been rolled out to set precedents.
1) The government can, will, and should lie to us. As the OP said, it is "not a big deal."
2) The government can, will, and should use agencies liked the IRS to target political opposition (even private citizens). Again, half the country (the side not being targeted) thinks it is "not a big deal."
3) The government can, will, and should target, spy on, and punish the press that doesn't repeat government lies in an echo chamber. After all, the lies are not a big deal.
4) The government can, will, and should block any attempt by the people to investigate what our elected representatives are doing in Washington. See: Lerner from the IRS saying that no wrongdoing has occurred while pleading the 5th to any question posed. No big deal. See: Holder testifying under oath that he had no involvement in potential prosecution of the press even though he had personally signed of on a warrant to investigate James Rosen. Again, the lie is no big deal.
The time has come for everyone to put partisan politics aside and think about the direction our country is headed... and what kind of America we want to leave to the next generation.

great post, basically democrat or republican all these politicians are very alike, they are for the most part, power hungry, greedy and unethical individuals who will do almost anything to get power, and then will take advantage of their positions to enrich themselves at our expense.
unfortunately, on both sides they have set in effect large obstacles to keep others out of the political process, and to maintain themselves and their cronies in power.
and now with the IRS involvement, as well as other government agencies, as well as the above the law status they have given themselves and their supporters, it is even harder to break their grip on power.
#392 Jun 7, 2013
The IRS has always been used as an attack dog, and always will be. Why? Because we tolerate a shamelessly corrupt government. We get what we deserve.
The republicans will stir the pot a little about these scandals in an effort to posture to their supporters, but will ultimately let it all slide. Why? So they can do these things when they get back in power.
It's not complicated. They know that most of the people in this country are blind sheep that will never have an independent thought of their own. They know that democrats will look the other way no matter what Obama does just as republicans looked the other way at everything Bush did.
This principle is why it only going to get worse. Just look at what has come out this year alone! No big deal, the sheeple say.
Just wait for what's next.... It'll only get worse.

not only do the politicians use their power to enrich themselves and their supporters at our expense, but they have also voted themselves unheard of perks and benefits also at our expense,
apparently it is not enough for them to just write legislation or make decisions to pay off themselves and their supporters, they want benefits while they screw us.
