Jacksonville, FL — A 16-year-old has been arrested for allegedly shooting a 12-year-old in Northwest Jacksonville.
The victim was driven to the hospital by his mother Thursday afternoon. He was shot in the leg, it’s considered a non-life threatening injury.
JSO says 16-year-old Josie Lorenzo Lewis has now been arrested for aggravated battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharging a firearm in public.
Police say the victim and suspect knew each other, but are not offering any further details on the motive behind the shooting. A police report obtained by WOKV shows Lewis agreed to speak with detectives, but the portion detailing what he says has been redacted.
According to JSO, Lewis has a prior conviction for strong armed robbery in Jacksonville.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office confirms to WOKV that Lewis has an active warrant for burglary and grand theft over $20,000 in connection to a September 2013 home burglary. We’re told Lewis will be fully processed and tried in Jacksonville before facing the Clay County charges.

A North Carolina man was stitched up after his stepdaughter allegedly attacked him with an axe because she detested the gospel music he played.
Mary Katherine Atkinson, 32, of Mount Holly, was charged Sunday with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. She was taken to the Gaston County Jail and booked on $100,000 bail.
Police say the suspect told her mother that she was sick of hearing 72-year-old stepfather's gospel music and was “going to cut him up with the ax,” WSOC-TV reports.
The stepfather, Reginald Robinson suffered minor injuries in the head and the hand. He was taken to the hospital and released a short time later after receiving stitches, RawStory reports.
Robinson, was shocked by Atkinson's actions.
“She came in and the attack started. I was just baffled to see it happen,” Robinson told WSOC-TV.“God was with me, and I was able to subdue her.”
Atkinson has lived with her mother and stepfather for more than a year, Robinson told the Gaston Gazette. He said she had changed in recent weeks.
“The last several days there seemed to be some difference in behavioral patterns,” he told the paper.“It was just sort of out of the blue.”
Robinson said his wife has spoken to Atkinson since he went to the hospital.
He said his stepdaughter cried, apologized and said that she can’t remember what happened, according to the paper.
Robinson won't speculate about the attack but is hoping to get help for his stepdaughter.

Five people were hurt after a drunken driver lost control of his car on a North Carolina road and slammed head-on into an ambulance responding to a call, authorities said.
Two EMTs were riding in the ambulance down a two-lane road in Gaston County when a 36-year-old driver, Blair Orr, crossed the center line and slammed into the emergency vehicle on Monday, authorities said.
A camera installed on the dashboard of the Stanly Civil Defense Squad ambulance captured the wreck.
The 12-second clip, which aired on WSOC-TV, shows the moment Orr’s sedan swerved in front of the vehicle and crashed.
The two EMTs were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released.

Krap Slop's Hillbilly kin chimps out and goes S A V A G E AGAIN!
Dozens of police cruisers flooded the area near the Kensington-South Hampton line Tuesday afternoon. Officers were called to 81 Highland Ave., where 44-year-old Anthony Reardon refused to give up his weapons, police said.
Homes were evacuated, roads were closed and some people in the area heard gunfire during a tense four and a half hours.
Officers were called to check on someone in the house and when they were greeted by Reardon, who was wearing tactical gear, a helmet and carrying firearms, police said.
“When a Kensington officer and a trooper arrived on scene, they were met with an individual who was armed. The officers attempted to communicate with this individual. They were unable to have the gentleman release his firearms. The officers then took cover, and the gentleman then proceeded to attempt to leave the scene in a police cruiser,” said Executive Maj. Dave Parenteau of the New Hampshire State Police.
Reardon allegedly tried to steal a Kensington police cruiser, but ran into state police cars and got stuck, police said. He then escaped to the woods.
Officers had to take cover at the time because at one point there was gunfire, police said.
“Rounds were exchanged. As far as whether he shot at the police officers, we’re not sure at this point, or if they shot back. We’re still in the middle of determining who fired what rounds,” said Chief Michael Sielicki of the Kensington Police Department.
No one was hit by the gunfire, and backup arrived from across the region, including federal agents.
Sections of routes 150 and 107 were shut down, and a helicopter searched the wooded area.
It was an unsettling scene, according to people who live in the area.
“It’s scary because you don’t know what’s going to happen, you don’t know who the person is,” one woman said.
“A half dozen to a dozen, it was very distant but I definitely, definitely heard gunshots,” said Jay Baier of Kensington.
Reardon made it back into his home while officers retreated for safety, police said.
Cameras confirmed he was not armed, and a SWAT team and K-9 officer moved in to arrest Reardon just before 9 p.m.
“The manhunt is over. The individual is in custody. There have been no injuries reported,” Parenteau said.
Reardon was taken to a hospital. Police are still investigating who is responsible for the gunfire and what led to the confrontation.
During the manhunt, people living within the search area were told to shelter in place, lock their doors and stay away from windows, police said. Residents who were not home were not allowed back in their neighborhoods until Reardon was captured.
Neighbors watched as dozens of cruisers raced onto their streets, knowing nothing more than rumors of what was happening.
“The guy there said there was a gentleman or somebody who had guns that was shooting and we can’t go up there,” said Preston Reed of South Hampton.
“I’ve seen probably, I’d say 50 to 75 police cars pull in,” Baier said.
Mike Gouin couldn’t get home in time to be with his wife.
“She’s home alone and she’s scared. They called her, the police called her and said to lock the doors and stay away from the windows until further notice, there’s a guy with a gun on the loose,” Gouin said.
“Where’s this all going to end? It’s just horrible. It really. It really is,” Peter Pollock said.
Police allowed people back in their homes later, but there was still an active crime scene at 81 Highland Road and no one is allowed near the property.

Krap Slop's SAVAGE kin Kills again and kills again and keeps KILLING
Police say Brendan Lee Johnson, 19, and his girlfriend, Cassandra Ann Rieb, 18, sneaked into his grandparents' home last month in Sterling, a small city on Colorado's rural northeastern plains, and strangled Charles and Shirley Severance, both 70.
The couple then tried to cover their tracks, scattering the grandmother's burned remains in two states and later calling 911 to report finding the grandfather's body, which was too heavy for them to dispose of as planned, authorities said. They appeared in court Wednesday, a day after being arrested.
The teens told authorities they had planned since early May to smother the Severances with pillows as they slept, but the effort became complicated when the couple put up a struggle.
"They're young stupid and selfish," said Shirley Severance's half-sister, Norma Curl. In an interview with The Associated Press, Curl said Johnson recently graduated from high school and had been living with his grandparents, but she didn't know why.
Police said the teens told them the killings happened May 20. When authorities discovered Charles Severance's body nine days later after receiving a medical call from Johnson, his wife was missing. Investigators on Monday discovered some of her remains near Sterling and others about 30 miles away in Lorenzo, Nebraska.
"Together we went and we did it together," Rieb told investigators, according to the court documents. "We had agreed to do it together, obviously.... Like one get one and one get the other."
Rieb said the plan was to hasten Johnson's inheritance, which included the grandparents' low-slung home, valued at just $47,000.
The teens crept into the home early in the morning, but Charles Severance was awake and fought Johnson, according to the documents. Johnson told authorities he tried to choke his grandfather, who he believed then died of a heart attack.
Shirley Severance asked, "Why are you doing this to me?" and offered the combination to her safe as Johnson and Rieb strangled her, the records said. As she attempted to open the safe, Johnson grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed his grandmother, authorities said.
In the days that followed, the couple told police that they cleaned the home, gathered up evidence and drove to Nebraska, the documents say. They said they had planned to cut up and burn both bodies, but left Charles Severance's behind because it was too heavy, the records say.
They burned Shirley Severance's body in a fire pit near Sterling but later dug it up and took some remains to Nebraska, police said.
Johnson's attorney, Rachel Lanzen, did not return calls seeking comment Wednesday, and it was unclear who would be representing Rieb. Jill Johnson, Brendan's mother and Shirley Severance's daughter, declined to comment to The Associated Press on Wednesday and asked for privacy. Calls to possible listed phone numbers for Rieb went unanswered or messages were left that weren't immediately returned.
A judge on Wednesday advised the teens of possible charges, which could include first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, forgery and theft. Both were held without bond.

Krap Slop's Hillbilly Kin goes S A V A G E and Kills again and a
The couple accused of killing two Las Vegas Metro police officer and a bystander Sunday equated officers and the government with Nazis, according to police.
Police said 31-year-old Jared Miller and his wife, 22-year-old Amanda Miller, left their apartment about 4:30 a.m. Sunday to begin their rampage.
About seven hours later, according to police, Jared Miller walked into a CiCi's Pizza near Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue, looked around and then walked outside. They said both Jared and Amanda Miller then walked back into the restaurant, before Jared Miller walked up behind 31-year-old Officer Igor Soldo and shot him in the head. They said 41-year-old Officer Alyn Beck, who was eating lunch with Soldo reacted.
Police said that Beck was met by gunfire from Jared Miller and was wounded in the throat. They said both of the Millers then walked up to Beck and fired several rounds into him. They said the pair then covered Beck with a "Don't Tread On Me" flag and tossed a Swastika on his body. They said Jared Miller then pinned a note on Saldo's body that referenced the "beginning of a revolution."
The Millers then crossed Nellis and walked to a nearby Walmart, according to investigators. They said Jared Miller walked inside the store, fired a shot and shouted about the beginning of a revolution, telling everyone to get out of the store. They said 31-year-old Joseph Wilcox, of Las Vegas, who was carrying a concealed weapon, was inside the store and saw the commotion. They said Wilcox told his friend he was going to confront the gunman. They said Wilcox confronted Jared Miller, and Amanda Miller walked up behind Wilcox and shot him in the ribs. Wilcox collapsed and later died.
Investigators said the Millers then moved to the back of the store and prepared defensive positions. They said two teams entered the Walmart - one from the back and one from the front. They said the back team was quickly confronted by the Millers. They said there was an exchange of gunfire and words between the officers and the Millers.
The couple was eventually cornered in the back of the store, according to police. They said that was when Amanda Miller fired several rounds into her husband before shooting herself in the head. They said Jared Miller died at the scene, but Amanda Miller was taken to a local hospital, where she died.
Investigators said they believe the shooting was an "isolated act," and that the couple is not believed to be white supremacists. Instead, they said, the couple appeared to believe the government as oppressive and officers as the enforcement of that oppression.
Jared Miller has faced vehicle theft charges in Washington, according to police. They said the couple had lived in Las Vegas since January.

Krap Slop's Hillbilly kin Chimps out and goes SAVAGE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
A courthouse shooting on Friday could have been a major tragedy, but perhaps miraculously only the alleged gunman ended up dead. Dennis Marx showed up ready to do serious battle and harm, but law enforcement officers were quick to react and put a stop to the plan.
CNN reports that Marx, 48, initiated the courthouse shooting in what ended up being a three-minute battle that left him dead and one deputy injured. Forsyth County Sheriff Duane Piper detailed that the gunman came quite prepared for a massive battle, as he had grenades, ammunition, a gas mask, body armor, and spike strips that he had made himself. Marx then allegedly tried to run over the deputy who confronted him, and the deputy fired on him. The two exchanged gunfire, and then Marx threw out several types of grenades.
As the deputy slowed Marx down, officers rushed in to assist from the jail across the street. Within seconds a SWAT team was on the scene and soon the courthouse shooting was under control. Dennis Marx died after being hit with several gunshots. Reports indicate that eight officers fired during the brief battle. Deputy James Daniel Rush was taken to the hospital after suffering leg fractures that are not life-threatening.
Yahoo! News indicates that Dennis Marx was due in court Friday to plead guilty in a drug case. Though a motive for the courthouse shooting has not been detailed by authorities, the timing of the attack and when Marx was due in court seemingly indicate the two are related. This particular court case goes back to August 2011 when Marx was arrested and faced charges related to weapon possession, selling marijuana, and a number of other felony charges. The suspect filed a federal civil rights complaint in 2013 against the sheriff’s department, so there is a long history of contentious relations between Marx and law enforcement, it would seem.
In addition to the spike strips, gas mask, grenades and body armor, the courthouse shooting suspect also had zip ties, water, and two handguns. Piper indicated that it was clear to them that he “came prepared to stay a while,” and given the restraining devices he had along,“We have to assume that he was there to occupy the courthouse.” Luckily for all in the vicinity at the time, he never made it past his first encounter with the deputy. Had Dennis Marx had his way, it is quite clear that the courthouse shooting would have had a much more tragic outcome than it did on Friday.

Authorities in northwestern Arizona say a man has been arrested in connection with a 1997 unsolved homicide case in Bullhead City.
Police in Bullhead City say 54-year-old Matthew Gibson is being held in a Holbrook jail awaiting extradition to Mohave County.
They say Gibson drove from North Carolina and turned himself in to authorities Thursday.
Bullhead City police were called to the Colorado River near Rotary Park after a woman's body was found in the bushes on July 1, 1997.
An autopsy revealed 38-year-old Barbara Leone Brown of Kingman suffered multiple blunt-force trauma and skull fractures.
Winslow police say Gibson came to their department and insisted he had killed a woman between 1994 and 1997.
Bullhead City police interviewed Gibson and say details he provided coincided with the Brown case.

The Midland Beach man who turned himself in for the killing of a man outside of bar owned by "Mob Wives" star Big Ang was released on $50,000 bail after his arraignment on Wednesday, prosecutors said.
Stephen Fasano, 23, was charged with second-degree manslaughter for the death of Abdou Cisse, 46, in front of the Drunken Monkey bar, 1207 Forest Ave., early Sunday morning, the district attorney's office said.
Fasano was also charged with third-degree assault for the attack on another 39-year-old man he also fought outside of the bar, prosecutors said.
Cisse, a Senegalese native, tried to break up a fight between Fasano and another man outside of the West Brighton bar around 3:40 a.m. when Fasano punched him in the head twice, which caused Cisse to fall to the ground and crack his skull, according to police and court papers. Cisse was pronounced dead at the scene.
"He was not just a customer, but a gentle giant that I loved," tweeted Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, who owns the bar and stars on the VH1 reality-show "Mob Wives."
Fasano punched and kick the other man in the face and body and bit him on the back, court papers said.

LISA Hyder telephoned her ex-husband from a bottle shop where she worked, asking for a lift home.
Her ex-husband Charles Hyder told her that he was out and when he got home he would call and come and get her, he told WAAY TV.
By that time Lisa Hyder, who has two young children, was probably dead, dismembered and partly eaten by her accused killer Gregory Scott Hale, who had met her at the bottle shop in Manchester, a city of about 10,000 people, in Tennessee.
Hyder, 36, of Pikeville, would not have known that, according to Hale’s Facebook page, she had met a described devil worshipper, The Christian Post reported.
The alleged killer’s Facebook page is filled with images and descriptions of blood, gore and killing. In a recent post, Hale shared a photo that read:“I hug the people I hate so I know how big to dig the hole in my backyard.”
In April, he wrote about being a cannibal and eating a vegetarian.
“would tha vegetarian taste like that fake soy meat like they got in sum fast food places???” he wrote, hopefully as a joke.
A post in February was dedicated to serial killer Richard Ramirez, who died in a California prison last June. Hale also loved the heavy metal band Slayer.
Captain Frank Watkins of the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department said that authorities had no reason to believe that Hale had done anything illegal before.
District Attorney General Mickey Layne told The Tullahoma News that the sheriff’s department was tipped off by a neighbour of Hale, who had allegedly asked him to help dispose of Hyder’s body parts.
An arrest warrant tendered to Coffee County General Sessions Court, stated that Hale allegedly confessed to killing the victim.
According to the arrest warrant, after killing Hyder, Hale allegedly beheaded her and cut off her hands and placed the body parts in a plastic bucket. He then allegedly cut off her feet and other body parts, placing them in another bucket. The warrant states that Hale buried the torso of the body in a burn pile at the residence, which is his parent’s home.
Hale also allegedly admitted to cannibalising part of the victim, according to the warrant.
Charles Hyder said they had tried to speak to her throughout the weekend as she spoke to her two young children — aged two and three — every day.
“I still blame myself because I didn’t go get her, but I was down in Huntsville unloading my truck, and I wished I could have been there a little bit faster, usually I rescue her every time something goes wrong,” he told WAAY-TV.
“It’s really hard. I really loved her. No matter what she’d done, I loved her. I wouldn’t want nobody to go through that.”
Her family said they will seek the death penalty for Gregory Hale.
The 37-year-old Hale was charged with murder and abusing a corpse, and held in custody in Coffee County jail pending a $1.5 million bond.

A Phoenix-area transient is accused of launching an unprovoked attack on a pet dog that left the animal bloody and beaten.
Phoenix police said they learned Kristopher Kimmerling has allegedly been antagonizing the victim's dog, Hayden, for more than an hour before he opened the gate to the fenced yard of the home and let the dog out.
Officers said Kimmerling then began kicking and hitting the pet.
A woman who provides foster care to Hayden on behalf of the owner learned of the incident after her children told her the dog was being abused.
The woman ran outside and yelled at Kimmerling, who left the area, police said.
Hayden was bleeding from the head and mouth, and the witness took him to a veterinarian.
Officers located Kimmerling just after 9 a.m. in the area of N. 19th Avenue and Mission Lane.
He was booked into jail on a charge of animal cruelty and other unrelated charges.
Hayden received staples to his head and his tongue had to be sutured. The dog's prognosis is unclear.

Krap Slop's North Carolina kin goes SAVAGE Again!!!!!!!!!!
Authorities in Wake County are investigating a bizarre kidnapping case after police found a woman who was being held against her will for almost a week.
The incident first came to light Monday morning when Zebulon police received a call from a man in Germany who said he believed his estranged 34-year-old wife was being held against her will somewhere in the North Carolina town.
Following an investigation, police singled out a warehouse in the 500 block of Mack Todd Road as a possible location where the victim could be. When police contacted the man who was renting the warehouse, which is not visible from the street, 45-year-old Robert Whiteside agreed to meet authorities at the scene.
When Whiteside arrived, the woman was inside a vehicle with him. Police were able to separate the pair, and authorities said the victim was "very excited to see police and be away from the suspect," because she had been kept "within arms length" from the suspect the entire time. They said the victim came to U.S. willingly, but did not know what she was getting involved in.
Officials said the woman, whose name is not being released, told them she had been held against her will, physically and sexually assaulted, and stripped of her finances since arriving in the U.S. on June 4 after the pair met online. She was in good health and was taken to a safe house.
When authorities searched the warehouse, they said they discovered a secret bedroom, along with ropes, but no chains. They also said during a news conference Tuesday that it appeared Whiteside was living inside the building where he also operated a bathtub refinishing company.
Whiteside has been charged with human trafficking and assault by strangulation. Wednesday he was also charged with second degree sexual offense.
