It seems like ARH Nurses are wanting to strike every time that I turn around.

Yeah, they sit on their azz and provide the worst care possible and always wanting more pay. Just be happy you're blessed with a big paying job

When I was in the hospital there last year with heart problems, I noticed that the nicest and the hardest working nurses that cared for me were the ones from other states. They even carried a conversation with me while they were doing their job so well. That is how I realized that they were not from Kentucky. Most of the local nurses that came into my room were grouchy and rude, and they didn't even seem to want to ask how I felt. They were also the ones who seemed to need the most help from other nurses. I am just being honest. I have heard similar stories from other people. I have also heard people say that the Hazard ARH has gotten better in the last couple of years, and if that is true, I and many other people believe that it is probably due to the hiring of people who are not originally from Hazard.

Yes, I noticed the same exact thing when one of my grandmothers was in the hospital there. Nurses who made conversations with my grandmother and her family, and still did their job wonderfully without complaining, were the ones who said that they were from other places, not Perry County. That is very interesting.
