This is the way of the future - a medical assistant (9 months training after high school with "training in psychology" (what's that?) handles your mental health care.
Of course, the article does not say that this program is the Brain Child of Blue Cross to reduce the number of people going to licensed professionals for their care. What's next? Medical assistants doing surgery?

So this Diamond program are the people who make your Doctors ask you the same questions over and over again on every visit? Is it organized by the Minnesota Department of Health? First of all, it's none of their business, your medical information should be between your Doctor and Yourself Only. Haven't we seen enough media with Medical Records being Compromised with nosey individuals who work in the field but should not have access to it, yet do? I think Yes. All patients should refuse to answer those 3-4 questions. It's all about another agency making money by handing out addicting, mind altering antidepressants like candy.
