Would you like to be put in jail for a speeding ticket? The crime and the punishment do not match!

There are circumstances where you do go to jail for a speeding ticket.... depends on how much over the limit you go. Trust me on this.

My say, "You can't change what you won't acknowledge". Special Note to Insider: I don't know who you are but you are poisonous. If you wor for HCMC you need to leave. You are toxic to the environment and, my bet, your fellow employees. Dr. Byrson didn't bring you guys down, you did that yourselves!!! One person, especially someone as crazy as you say Dr. Bryson is would never have been taken seriously. You can't honestly believe that CMS was fooled, do you? Or wait, maybe she paid them off to shut down your hospital. You're right about one thing, the residents of Haywood County deserve better...better than you and any other employee who doesn't stand up and take responsiblity for, or examine their culpabilty in fiasco.

Speaking from experience, I presume.

Do you feel special or what? Would you like a bronzed placque for time served?

Now that Mr. Rice (I refuse to call him a DR.) has Driven this hospital into the ground, from which it may not recover; What is he going to do next?
Perhaps he'll go the Disney world!!!
His leaving is the best thing to happen to Haywood in many years, now maybe the business of taking care of people that need care can go on, without worry about what new car Mr. Rice will be able to buy this year.
Mr. Rice is not the Disney type however, croney and former Doctor Love is. Of course, that may change since he no longer can go scot free on the hospital's tab.

A clean sweep wasn't the answer when outside team hires staffers that are as bad or worse. The new ones think their so much better than the locals around here that they won't hire us or promote from within. Sad. We're paying them to discriminate against us and look down their noses at us. I say it's time the County got off their lazy butts and started taking some responsibility. This is their fault for trying to give our hospital away. We should make them take it back and deal with it instead of allowing them to point fingers and run.

We know that Haywood Regional Medical Center is no longer owned by Haywood County. So who are the real owners? I want names.
Are some of the physicians like Dr. Rice and Dr. Steel owners?
Are you stupid??? The hospital "owns" itself. There are no shareholders. A hospital authority, such as Haywood, cannot be owned. It is a public entity, much like a county government. Haywood County does not own it and the hospital gets ZERO tax dollars from the city or county. Bryson was an idiot as she seemed to think the hospital was supported by her tax dollars.

Also, did you notice that the "leak" of the Bryson memos was faxed to the Asheville Citizen-Times from a fax machine in the Haywood County Manager's Office? Idiots!
