So true. They are the meanest women to work with.
Funny, I work as a tech in a large Hospital and I have no problem with Filipina Nurses.Granted Im married to one so that may help.
And why pick on Filippinas for speaking their language and not Hispanic who are larger group and more politically powerful?

PLUS....its rude as hell when they stand around and Im sure talk shit right in my face!
If you don't understand their language, who gives a crap if they're talking "shit" to your face?! Couldn't they be saying good things about you?? Why does it have to be "shit"? Also, if you're going to judge a race on speaking their language, why don't you learn the difference between "effects" and "affects"?

That's right! Dam people now a days.....just money hungry. I doubt they'll get anything. It's obvious, they speak there language, when its English they should use....
Lol. What's obvious? That they speak THEIR language?! Duh! You talk about Fillipinos using English but you can't even put a proper English sentence together! Oh, and it's "IT'S" with an apostrophe...i.e. "when IT'S English they should use."

Communication is the root cause to all errors in medicine. I would like to see the English speaking staff sue because the Phillps are creating a hostile work environment. Wouldn't be hard to do. I have worked (im a nuse) with the Phillps and they band together and are the meanest women I know.
I'M (capital I with an apostrophe)..."im a nuse"...way to go there "English speaking staff!" Seriously, if you're going to criticize people for speaking English, you've got to learn it also.

Because you idiot Pinyas can't speak proper English.... Now the Chicanos don't speak proper Spanish either but that doesn't matter since in the US we speak English. Now I expect every immigrant from every country to speak English. I came from Europe speaking German and Spanish. I had no problem learning the national language. Stop being lazy slobs and learn to speak English properly and in the workplace. Speak your own language off the job especially in Healthcare where it's critical for patient care and for staffing. But I would say that the real reason they got the boot is because Filipino nurses are the most incompetent nurses worldwide.... Remember most of them paid for a diploma... No proper schooling and they cover their asses and blame the real hardworking nurses while fucking over the system.

Glad they are gone!!

I wish you to be the one alone among several nurses who don't speak your language and speak their own language in front of you and patients who doesn't understand what these people are talking about, may be you will understand other nurses and patients feelings better. This is simply disrespectful towards others, this is USA not Philippines and at work everybody should speak one language to create a professional atmosphere and be respectful to others.
