Mr. McConnell as demonstrated over the years a blatan disregard for all of Eastern Kentucky. So,why is he now working so diligently to discredit a healthcare system that (if you know if you know the facts) that will greatly benefit this state?! Could it be purely his disdain for President Obama and by his own words that his (Mconnell's) primary goal was to cause Obama to fail. Ask yourself - does that sound like a Senator honestly concerned with your welfare and life concerns? Or does it sound like someone taking your vote and tax dollars to further his personal "hate" agenda while shrouding it with false "piety" and insincere concern? I'm just saying!! Consider what he has really done for this area! Absolutely nothing. In conversations I've had with persons in Frankfort in the past regarding specific issues here, I was advised that it has been said "It's only Eastern Kentucky - it doesn't matter." Our representatives and senators have not "gone to bat" for this area like they should, and we need to change that! Force them to recogize the people who voted them into that office and repeatedly force them into dialogue about their campaign promises. If those promises are not kept, VOTE THEM OUT - ESPECIALLY _ McConnell!

Unfortunately, anyone who knows how to do the research and not allow others to interpret policy for them, would know that Obama care creates jobs and will, in fact, save money. Otherwise, more money will come out of the tax payer's pockets when the uninsured are forced to simply use the emergency room as a regular medical visit. There have many jobs already been created. It's y sad that McConnell is so determined to hurt as many Americans (especially Kentuckians) as possible with his misinformation motivated by pure hatred.

You are confusing the Republicans with your facts. If you want to get through to them you have to say something outrageous, as if it is a fact, and repeat it over and over ad nauseum. Oh, and put it on Fox News, they love Fox News. Seriously, your point about the Emergency Room visits ought to strike home. Anyone knows if you go to the ER you tie up emergency personnel for minor ailments/injuries. Those are highly trained, well paid people, who should be dealing with trauma, but are tied up with uninsured clients for regular care. These are the same people who cry about paying fast food workers $10/hr because their big mac would go up a bit. Never realizing that keeping their wages low make them dependent on federal assistance, which the tax payers pay for. Essentially we supplement Subway and others, picking up their slack. Why not let the fast food chains, that have restaurants all over the country and some the world pay their workers a living wage out of their considerable profits? An extra dollar on every Papa John's pizza would take care of his costs to give his workers health insurance. Instead he would choose to cut their hours to less than 40 to keep from having to contribute. The same principles used by giants like Walmart.

Yeah..jobs? Government jobs that take money from your check. Everybody can't work for the big "G" like O'Bambooze" wants.
