I am one of the nurses that work with Miracle and I have been with her since she first came home from the hospital. She is such a joy to work with and she has definately come a long way!

This is a sad situation, that has been turned into a good situation. Thanks to all involved in the care for this child in the hopes that someday she will be able to at least be a real kid, with real dreams. God bless miss Miracle.

They do half brain transplants in Pittsburgh, maybe she could get the other half there.

Its so amazing to hear about children that are saved by York Hospitals amazing neonatal care. Although it brings me to the question of why not our child? My fiancee and I just suffered the loss of our child on 10/28/10 at york hospital. Aydrianna was going to be our first daughter and our family's first granddaughter. She was born at 6 months gestation weighing 1lb 4oz, Instantly before even being born york hospital told us they were sorry for our loss but there was nothing they could do for her. We begged them for almost 5 hours to at least have the nicu team in the room to check over her before making their decision, they refused. Our daughter survived for almost two hours with out any assistance before passing and this left us completely devistated. After reading this article it makes me angry as our child was completely healthy, but thankfully this article will give us more fuel and reasons to sue the Hospital and hopefully change the protocol of york hospital so that no one else ever has to deal with this senseless loss.
