physiotherapists are to be registered in paramedical council, not in medical council. this itself shows that they are not doctors, but just paramedicals like lab techs, xray radiographers etc

of course we deserve title"dr". but i feel very proud when anybody call me A PHYSIOTHERAPIST. its fact that no any other medical professionals have the guts to debate with us in rehabilitation of stroke patients, musculoskeletal injuries TBI where even the physicians rely on us but our main part we do is councelling and convincing throught the treatment duration daily as in chronic illness patients like head injury SCI STROKE fractures where surgeon or physician just discharge pts by giving him life but wat abt the quality of life that pts expect, only we can do justice or provide a good finishing for physicians or surgeons work, the world call it REHABILITATION, the only physios can do it. other medicos domnate us because they know we are superior somewhere. we are more than doctors to the pts. it is mentioned by most of my patients. so just chill. our power should be the pts. he acknowledge our work . so ju st respect our profession and dedicate ourself to the pts.

Actually the problem with the doctors is that they are highly scared that physios may take over them. because in the long run it is physiotherapy that helps and medicines tend to weaken yuo gradually. moreover I quite shocked to see such vulgar comments from the dr.s really first you should learn to behave yourself because it is you people you are killing a lot of lifes due to medical negligence. and from the time immemorial people have relied on physiotherapy and ayurveda for than allopathic medicines which has doles of sideaffects, doing more bad than good.
