This may light a spark of hope especially to patients who may have been waiting for years for a donor organ. Where kidney patients are involved, I heard that some of them even die while waiting for a possible kidney transplant. Most of them also receive dialysis treatment in order to survive. However, I read reports from http://www.dialysisinjuryhelpline.com/ that some dialysis medications have been actually linked to serious side effects including cardiac arrest.
