I am studying Nursing so want to know your opinion over it as a career.

The Health Care Industry, in general, maintains a "monopoly capitalistic" control over the nursing labor market with the assistance of government. Some of the methods of doing the same include the immigration to the USA of large numbers of foreign nurses, increasing the supply of health care providers by allowing non-nurses to take on nursing responsibilities, and efforts to increase the number of nurses graduating from nursing schools. Increasing profits and controlling the nursing labor market are the goals of this "monopoly capitalistic" approach. The exploitation and oppression of nurses is the intentional or unintentional result of the aforementioned. Thus, a career in nursing in the USA is unadvisable until this "monopoly capitalistic" approach is discontinued. I, personally, find it unacceptable for medical professionals to be subordinate to business types whom I consider to be inferior social and professionally and whose motives with regard to the medical professions and patients are primarily motivated by unprincipled greed.
