You can now go online to the Oklahoma State Department of Health and read the January 31st survey results for Community Care Center. Not a good report.

I see where more fines have been imposed on the facility because they were not providing good patient care for the residents. Imagine that. How does the facility expect good patient care to be done when they do not have enough aides to adequately provide for the residents. The aides that work there are the best I have ever worked with, who care for the residents and who try their hardest to provide the care with what little supplies they have to work with. The only reason they are staying at the facility is because they are afraid of what would become of the residents if they left employment there. I just shake my head at the families who are willing to leave their loved ones in that place. May God have mercy on the souls who are running this place who are only in it for the money.

I would also like to add that the extra fines that have been imposed are from the January 31st survey that was done by the Oklahoma State Dept of Health. Surveyors came back to the facility in February and were there for 2 weeks. I can only imagine the penalties that will be imposed due to what all they found then.

Well, payroll checks have now started bouncing again. One employee attempted to cash a check at Walmart and the Walmart employee run it thru the scanner 4 times and it kept rejecting it. The local grocery store has also refused to cash any more paychecks because of the insufficient funds in the bank account the checks are drawn off of so now the owners are attempting to open a checking account at a bank in Wilburton for employees to cash their checks and if the owner of the bank will just do some research he will find that it would be in his best interest not to allow these owners to open a checking account at their bank. Also matter of public record that these owners applied for a permit to build 'offices' on the property somewhere of Community Care Center. Amidst all the financial problems of this facility and the jeopardy of closing by the State Health Dept and under investigation still by the Oklahoma Attorney Generals Office AND supply vendors still not being paid, WHY would these owners be applying for a permit to build offices on the property?!

Too bad state wouldn't take the nursing center away from these current owners so that someone else could purchase it and run it the way it is supposed to be ran. The residents should not have to be forced to find another place to live. They are comfortable and familiar with where they are now...and they are having to suffer through all this and it is ridiculous. As for the hot payroll checks, the employees need to take those to the District Attorney.

Seriously!! The owners of that nursing home are dumb asses!! Why in the hell would anyone want to work in a shitty environment like that? And secondly, who in their right mind want their family living in that mess? Ignorances and negligence on the owners behalf!!!!!

I had really wanted to visit one of the residents there who is now on hospice and her health is failing rapidly but I've been told if I try to step onto the property I will be arrested for trespassing. Their reasoning was that since I no longer worked there, I had no business being there. A couple of nurses also attempted to visit this resident this past week and they were promptly told no and escorted out of the facility after they picked up their final paycheck. Very disheartening.

I see in the Latimer County Courthouse records online where the owner of Eufaula Pharmacy is finally suing Jeff Butcher for the tens of thousands of dollars he owes him. And the walls come tumbling down......

If I could have one wish for the employers, it is that IF something ever happens to them they get placed in a facility with administration just like THEM!! So they can deal with the same treatment.. My God have mercy on their souls..

Latest survey results for CCC online thru the oklahoma state dept of health website...all 318 pages. Not a good report at all and appears the owner/administrator has been turned in to the oklahoma administrators board.

http://www.ok.gov/health/
Then click on: Long Term Care Inspection Surveys
Then a new window opens and click on Nursing Facilities
Then click on Continue to Nursing Facilities
When you select facility by name it will automatically take you to the screen where you can click on the facilities name and see all the surveys done.

From what I heard from a local doctor, the newkirk nursing center is in receivership by the state. They are moving all residents to another facililty & closing Newkirk Nursing Center. The owners have filed for bankruptcy.

If that is true that the owners have filed for bankruptcy, which district court did they file in?

Everyone that I've talked to today that still works for CCC found that when they went to cash their paychecks (payday was today) that their checks were no good. Imagine that.
