Abortion rights advocates: Illuminate meant to stop abortions

Full story: Charleston Gazette

While a state anti-abortion organization pushes for more regulations, abortion rights advocates call the campaign a veiled effort to end the practice in West Virginia.

The anti-choicers still don't get it; if it isn't THEIR pregnancy, it isn't their decision. Simple as that.

So basically a woman can be careless and just have her unborn baby killed, and people should not have the right to protest? Are you for real?

Another person's medical decisions are really none of your business.

A woman's PRIVATE medical decisions are none of YOUR bleeping business, really.

What part of "not YOUR pregnancy, not your decision" is too hard for you to understand?

It's part of public policy, so people can take whatever position they bleeping want.

No, you didn't HAVE to. You CHOOSE to. You had other choices. Fully subsidized choices. Those who want choice, need to own their choice - or in your case, CHOICES.

A woman's PRIVATE medical decisions are none of YOUR bleeping business, bubba. No matter what her reason(s) for those private medical decisions may have been.

Not YOUR pregnancy? Not your decision. Simple.

You will answer to God someday for murdering your children and that will be far worse than anything we could say on here.

She will answer to the mythical male god? From a book authored by mere men that places women as as second class and property of men? Is that the god you are referring to?

I will pray for all of you. This one life you have is your test. Believe me it won't be worth it. You will regret rejecting God and when I say regret I mean you will weep. I am thankful I was raised Christian and I'm a believer although I went off path for a while but I'm happy to say I've grown up now. I'm sorry you didn't get the opportunity to be raised Christian. Hey if there isn't a God then I won't care when I'm dead either way right? If you are wrong and there is a God, then you are in trouble. Think about it my friend. God Bless

Pray all you like to your mythical MALE god, knock yourself out.

Careful with assumptions, I was raised catholic, catholic school and all!

The scare tactics are where christians run once backed into the corner. Doesn't work with me....remember I was raised catholic, I know all about guilt tripping and scare tactics.

Nice to see you have been scared into believing!!

So you like to BELIEVE, obviously, which of course you are free to do. But guess what, beliefs AREN'T facts. So what you believe isn't necessarily true.

Wow, looks like you bought the whole religionist CON JOB, hook, line, and sinker. You have my sympathies.

As for your saying you'll pray for all of us? Good luck with that. I WAS raised with all that religious nonsense, although NOT by choice. I hated every minute of suffering through both Catholic Sunday school and church services, but hey, kids don't GET to make their own choices. But adults do, and as soon as I possibly could, I kicked all the toxic baggage of gods, religions, and churches OUT the door.

I still consider that one of the best life decisions I ever made. For me, life is so much happier WITHOUT the burdens of gods, religions, and churches. I'm religion-FREE and loving it.

the real reason they don't like abortion is that they see the women as sluts and they think sex is sin. they want that baby to be a punishment for sinning. the same with the hpv vaccines. they want that hpv to be a punishment for spreading their legs.

My opinion is, if you are against abortion, then don't have one. Feel free to offer help to young mothers and educate them on why you are against it.

But for the sake of the country, don't stop people with different belief systems from having the procedure. That is why we have separation of church and state. You are entitled to your religious views, but respect others as well.

The same thing can be said about Gay marriage. Give the term Marriage to the church, and make the term civil union for governmental purposes. If two men or two women want the same civil responsibilities as a man and woman are entitled to, then let them. Marriage stays with your religion, but recognize a couple legally as a union.

Again Say yes to education of principle but say no to loss of choice.
