Does anyone think it's wrong that the little girl said "there was blood everywhere, and i was so scared BUT IT WAS FUN!" The girl is only 4, what 4 year old thinks that kind of thing would be fun?
I agree - what 4 year old thinks blood is fun? I think that may be a little much for the average 4 year old to handle but hey, who knows.... troubling to me

I can relate to this story, it kind of reminds me of that little guy who lay asleep in the 'Manger', what was his name, turned out to be a real nice fellow, also.

I agree with you John. Why can't we be happy about the outcome and not be spreading all this garbage. There are some really mean spirited people who live here.

Lets see now calls father at 5A.M. and he says call 911. Most think that is to early for work.So I have to ask have any of you ever worked 3rd shift? He may have thought that after all the times she was in labor that it was a false alarm again. Now,I hope mom and baby are healthy.
So why didn't the reporter simply say that the father works third shift and believed it to be just another false alarm?
My guess is that the reporter would have said that if that was in fact the case.

Anyone notice how 'Sgw's' syntax and writing style are eerily similar to 'SharonMom of Bobby'(who also just happens to be from Chicopee).
Oh wait, aren't 'Sgw' and 'SharonMom...' the only posters from Chicopee on these threads?
Wow, imagine that!
Who would have thought two people from the same town would express themselves identically?
What an amazing coincidence!
Well guess what Grease Monkey ...I'm not from Chicopee...I'm from Berkshire County...and you can take it up with Topix as to why it first said Holyoke and now Chicopee...because it was neither...as for sgw I don't know where he/she is from...but you know what...I don't really care what you "think"..and I use the term "think" very loosely in your case...just wanted people to know I live in the Great Blue State of Massachusetts....Berkshire County!!

What difference does it make where or when the baby was born..Babies come when they are ready..Thank goodness they are ok and doing fine..She is not the frist one that didn't make it to the hospital nor will she be the last..Yrs ago most everyone was born at home and not in a hospital.

This family has been through enough. Give it a rest and leave them alone. They have enough problems from the sounds of it. Wish them luck and hope that things get better for the children and the mother.

I agree Toast! I don't the family but it seems as humans beings we can be a little more decent than some of the people here have been.

Wow talking about turning a human interest story into a hate filled rant on all kinds of topics!

Woman had a baby, the young daughter was there to help, the father was not at the home...tada! Simple.
