Oh, I miss living in Norway.

Something like this would be so simple to get corrected in Norway... Something like that happens here and you will be spending a few hours trying to explain this to the Credit Card company.

Crazy fact though when living in Norway and the US. I pay a lot less in taxes in Norway and in the US, didn't think that was possible but it is.

My thoughts exactly!!!

I couldn't have put it better!!!

Though, to be honest, do we really believe that city hall and King Richie wouldn't have thought of this eventually?

Sounds just like Chicago. Welcome to the world's biggest rip-off , clout ridden, crooked city. Are you sure Richie, Toddy and Blago are not running things?

it would be pretty hard to accidentally put $40,000 in quarters into a parking meter, wouldnt it Pete?

That's funny, when I have traveled and made oddball touristy charges in weird places that I've never been; or when 3 people cashed money orders on the same day at a check cashing store 3 County's away from where I live drawing from credit card access checks that were "intercepted" in my mail box, no red flags go up at Chase or Visa ... however, on a first date when I tried to pay at a swanky restaurant, my card was placed on freeze due to "irregular patterns".

Thankfully, my date understood and laughed with me and not at me that night.

Uhuh!

If banks encourage the constant use of debit cards, why do they turn around and limit your use of them if you have what they call "excessive debit activity," hmmmm?

No wonder. Norway is also a FIAT nation, so this is just what people get. Norwegian voters.... Idiotic sheeple since 1905, they even managed to crown a king who wasn't born in the country.

It is actually quite funny. Maybe they need to make the next king a Muslim. Hopefully the crown prince converts soon to show the way for everybody else, like an old Hindu prince...
