Slide show shows why President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize: http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2009/10/09/w...

Unfortunately there was not a slide of Druggie Limpbauls head exploding or Glen Beck snorting an extra big line.

You are the twit, Cynic.
I can guarantee that I won't be the last 'twit' to criticize your sophomoric scrawling.

Somehow, I doubt that I am the first.

Hunter resides in beautiful downtown Albuquerque when he is not traveling.

As PlacitasRoy's NYT slideshow clearly demonstrates, Obama is expert at looking good and putting on a good show however, unfortunately, he has accomplished absolutely nothing. He is losing his war in Afghanistan while our men and women continue to die in ever larger numbers there, his impossible "goal" of a world without nuclear arms is a sham and since his rise to power, Iran, N. Korea, and others around the globe have made, and continue to make our world a more dangerous place, the Taliban and al-qaeda continue to re-gain power un-checked. At home, his policies have become an utter failure as jobless rates continue to rise, businesses continue to fail, houses go into foreclosure at alarming rates, and the US dollar drops like a stone as the US economy teeters on the brink of bankruptcy. All the while, Obama struts around looking smug and self satisfied apparently oblivious to the enormous havoc he has wrought.

For some reason I get the impression you would have preferred another republican administration that would continue the policies of the Bush administration.

Had Obama not been elected all that you have complained about in your rant would only be augmented.

IMHO, Obama's failures can be directly attributed to republican opposition. Apparently if he has a real fault it is likely due to his seeking bi-partisan support. If we, as a country seek progress it will not come about from trying to reverse republican intransigence. They are what they are.

I have a feeling that Obama will soon realize that one cannot reason with a republican and expect anything good to come from it. Then perhaps we will begin to see some real action.

Actually, I would have preferred a Libertarian administration that would trim the fat out of government, cut taxes (or all but entirely eliminate them), and privatize much that government currently screws up, like education to name only one. Failing that, yes I would prefer a Republican government because, whatever failings it may have, it is far better than Socialism.

Libertarian, less government, more freedom, and more like what the Founding Fathers had envisioned.

Every critism and accussation you make are complete based on Dubya's TOTAL failure. It took 28 years for voodoo Reagan economics to totally fail....and you expect President Obama to have cleaned the mess up in 9 months?!

That is Dubya's MESS President Obama is working at cleaning up in Afghanistan. His FAILED policies and pisspoor leadership wasted BILLIONS and many many lives.

"the Taliban and al-qaeda continue to re-gain power un-checked." What a completely absurd, unsubstantiated and completely FALSE pile of puppycr@p.

zorkon,

Whence the 'Stimulus'?

We are only supposed to have 8.5% unemployment because of the Obama/ Democrat 800 Billion Dollar Stimulus, currently at 9.8%.

The Republican Party can't stop the President or the Democratic Party if they wish to pass a bill, so your theory is out the window.

By some broader measures of unemployment, U-6*, we have reached nearly 20% under employed workforce.

I made a useful suggestion for the President to go out and deal with his foreign policy debacles by going out and winning these wars, and getting rid of despots. That would be a 'Real' leader, and seeker of peace.

Now, back to the other subject, you obviously don't want the butler job at my Maui villa, so the offer is withdrawn.

Old man Roy,

Remember what preceded Reagan? Stagflation and the main provider was:

JIMMY CARTER, the worst US President in 80 years. Period.

Cutting the tax burden on the American family led to 25 years of relatively strong growth and prosperity.

It is time for you to go take your pill.

Yeah I remember! Nixon lying about the 'secret plan to end the war. and another 40,000 troops dying and BILLONS pissedaway. Nixon taking the country off the gold standard. Wage and Price freeze. Ford's Whip Inflation Now (WIN) buttons, the first mid-east oil boycott. I remember Jimmy Carter dealing with a quadrupling of world oil prices and offering up a workable energy policy that Reagan scrapped.

“Cutting the tax burden on the American family led to 25 years of relatively strong growth and prosperity.” Only in your dreams. Reagan NEVER offered up a balanced budget, raised taxes on the middle class, doubled the national debt. When he took office America was the world's biggest creditor, world's biggest exporter of consumer goods, largest importer of raw materials. Today we are the biggest importer of consumer goods, exporter of raw materials, and the biggest debtor.

Turn off Fox and Druggie and do some research.

Jimmy Carter, turn down the temperature, and wear a sweater. That was his ENERGY plan! What a darned fool, and he had a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the USNA!!!
He would not take out the Iranians when he had a chance, that is from reading the Bible too much, and turning the other cheek, instead of reading the parts about vengeance.
Ford was a mediocre place holder and Nixon certainly s-cked, but JIMMY CARTER was the worse. As far as the Bushes, mediocrities, but CARTER was the worst since Harding.

Who ever said a 'balanced' budget was possible, when you are dealing with a Democrat controlled Congress? They wouldn't pass one, even if provided on a silver platter.
