Advice on best places to live in Europe/I hate America

Hi everybody,

I'm posting this here because I wanted to get a European perspective. I'm American, and I don't want this post to be negative or to rant, but I am starting to realize more and more how much I hate it here. I really want to move but don't know where. My parents immigrated here from Estonia. I was born here but still feel like I don't belong here because of my background. I don't understand why people are the way they are here. I feel like they live in a huge bubble of ignorance and entitlement. I don't date at all because I don't understand why girls are all jealous bitches and why guys turn female attention/sex into some sort of conquest. I think this society is repressed and has double standards. In college classes, students are naive and ignorant a lot of the time-I don't agree with professors and get emotional because I am surrounded by such stupidity. Or, I skip classes and let my grades slip. I can see why everyone is so fucking depressed here.

I have only traveled in Eastern Europe, and I really like the mindset of the people. I think everyone is much more laid back and open minded. My question is, if I were to move to Europe, what do you think the best places would be for me? I'm 21, about to graduate. I have a liberal arts degree, but want to continue my education. The only European language I can speak are Spanish and Russian, but I have studied several other languages and know that I wouldn't have a problem picking up more. I like to draw and paint. I am also vegan and am very into naturopathy. I'm a quiet person and a little reserved. I am an atheist and don't want to be surrounded by ignorant fanatics. I am very liberal when it comes to politics. I do prefer diversity because I am so familiar with it and don't really drink much and am not into the club scene. Marijuana is my friend but in this fucking country you can't do shit. Can't even go to the park at night because everything closes at sunset! I just want to be in an open-minded atmosphere where the people are actually CONNECTED and not empty and hostile. ANY advice or thoughts are appreciated!

I hope you find your home in Europe. You being so tolerant and all would have a hard time staying in america surrounded by "ignorant fanatics" Hey , I thought you liked diversity?

I agree with lindsy-You only want to be with socialist-communists, atheists, and vegans. Better stay in Europe. You might have a hard life if you had to live next door to someone who worked, ate hamburgers, went to church and voted republican. America might be a little too diverse for you. My advice-AMSYRTDAM
