We have bought property here six years ago and are still investing now. I think there are a lot of people that are preparing to leave but there are many more who are waiting to see what developes. There is still hope.

As a native from Nicaragua I started investing in Nicaragua since 1990 hoping for the system to change, I have since stopped because of the corrupt legal system, your property can be stolen from you and there is no recourse to recover it, you can be drown in a never ending legal battle in get lost and frustrated with their corrupt government (Judges). I would not advice anybody to buy property there, unless you you are ready to loos your money sooner or later
