No need to get rude. I guess you can't educate anyone that doesn't want to hear it. There is some rock n roll history in
them but sorry, no hockey.
I disagree wrinkles... The leafs have made history every year they have played...Think of the players that played in that era... some were great and some were not...or do you even watch hockey ?

I agree Oldtimer, thats the reason I avoided the reds. I recently got myself a green, which at least was installed in 1968, the greys being installed at the same time as well. I think the only seats in the Gardens that would be older are the wooden flip-down blues which I think were installed in the early to mid-60's. And yes, 1000 bucks is too much for a red, infact the average price I've seen for seats of any colour aside from Gold (outside of this forum) is roughly 500.00. I'd would love to see some pictures of the older style seating though.

Does anyone know how I can get a hold of one for a decent price? My husband is turning 40 and he use to work at the gardens for years. until it closed. He is the biggest leaf fan i know, but when it moved to the acc, he quit shortly after , "because it wasn't the same". If anyone could help me I would appreciate it thanks in advance

If I had your email Harry B. I would send you a few pictures of the original seats.

I have a seat from Maple Leaf Gardens. Seat #15 section 97 Row O. I also have the certificate of authenticity that was provided when I bought it originally from Leafsport Centresports Global Direct. If anyone is interested please email me at [email protected] I love the chair but have never had enough room for it and it deserves to be seen. I grew up in Hamilton but now live in Texas and that is where I would be sending from.

Rumors have it that Kaberle will be traded to the caps as soon as the playoffs are over for a draft pick and two players... Could be interesting to see who is coming back in the deal for the leafs..!!!!

I have a green seat from Maple Leaf Gardens. My ex-girlfriend made me keep it on the balcony for a winter, and as a result the decorative wooden frame is no longer in mint condition - though it wouldn't be tough to sand and re-varnish. I'm looking to sell. Email me if you want to know more. [email protected]

How much does it hurt the value not having the paper COA with the seat ? Meaning just the seat and plaque on it... thanks
