Wow i just posted yesterday that it was time to fire Murray and it happened today!!!!! I wonder what else I could get done lol. For the record Murray didnt take us to the playoffs last year it was Mason. We rode a hot goalie, and thats what u need to have success in this league. Even if the Blues dont make the playoffs at least were done with the junior Kenan eara & his mind games with players. What a way to start 2010 thank you for listening Mr. Davivson.

You are only as good as the players you have behind you. I hope all works well for Payne, but I feel he will have the same problems as Murray.

The Blues are f&$ked!! Andy Murray cared about winning more than the players do! When you have Karia, Perron & Oshie all at -5. Boyes & McClement at -8. Mcdonald -6 and the "Captain" Brewer? at -10?? The players are the ones who are letting down the fans. Not Murray! Good Luck Coach. This team will continue to lose and it will be YEARS!!! before the blues are back in the playoffs.

The Coach can only do so much! It is also the players! The players need to get off their butts and do more. Why was he let go when the other coach's in the past stayed longer and did not do much better? They should have given Murray a little more time. That is my opinion.

Andy Murray is taking the fall for horrendous effort by the players. Coach Murray has done an excellent job and it's disappointing to see him leave STL

anyone who wants to blame the players need to ask themselves 1 question who makes the last line change at home? the answer, the home team, which is why thier terrible at home. Murray cant match lines thats how you end up a minus for the game. top 3 record on the road this year. Hmmmmm interesting. Murray may have cared about winning but if it worked last year(the kid line) then why dont u keep them together this year! Good riddence.

i think it is time for a shake up of the entire team. If firing the coach does not get the guys off there buts and winning games then its will be time to start trading. i have a fealling that one of the "Kids" will not be here in the next month. and two of them will not be here by the end of the year. some will say why, when they have been doing so well together. well there stock is high so now's the time to get some more consistent players.
I dont think at murry was a great NHL head coach. He is a great guy but i dont think he is a leader for a professional team.

I don't think they should have fired him. I mean, come on they can win on the road but why can't they win at home. That's the big question. I would start benching some of the guys until they could figure out where the problem is. Put in some of the guys that warm the bench all of the time.

Murry fired, good move. Put package together with Tkachuk & Brewer to go.
Bring up rookies who want to play & play smart.

Put Peron, Oshie, & Bergman together and stay with them!

So if Andy Murray was the reason that the Blues were playing like S**T, Who are you going to blame for tonights performance?? Hey Barton1017. Your lines were mixed up tonight and guess what??? SAME RESULT! You are a fool to lay the blame on the "Line Matching". It is clearly lack of effort from the players.

Payne did a hell of a good job while coaching up here in Alaska, leading the Aces to three Kelly Cups. I'm sure he'll do an equally fine job heading up your Blues organization. I hope he guides the players out of their home slump, and into a winning season. The Blues still have enough time to turn it around. Let's go BLUES!

well they looked inspired to me but i guess ur wantin them go light the lamp for 6 goals agianst one of the best teams in hockey. he had the team for what a whole day b4 takin the ice, give it time bonehead. murray was a junk coach when he was in LA i dont remember them tearin up the standings when he was there either, and he had some good players in LA but u probably dont kno that.
