He should have stopped at least one of them. I guess we should also mention that the rest of the team members could not score a single goal. Lets also remember that they were 0 for 7 on the power play and they also had a power play that ran over 4 minutes. I guess Price has to get a shutout in regulation time and then maybe they could score that one goal you need to win the game in the shootout.

Game over after 4 shots......or maybe 1 shot!!!

I thought he should have stopped both of them. When he lets the other team get a two goal lead after four shots, the habs get deflated and say here we go again. Some saves at the start of the game would give the guys a lift, instead they are stuck in a big two goal hole and they havent even got two shifts under their belts.Winning teams start in net and Carey just isnt doing the job.And what is wrong with subban ? Last year he looked so promising, now he looks like Kaberles brother.

THE LAST GOAL BUGGED THE CRAP OUT OF ME...IF SOMEONE COULD PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW IF PRICE KNOWS THAT OVETCHKIN SHOOTS LEFT LIKE ME, WHY THE FUCK DID HE {PRICE}DECIDE TO LOOK OUT AT HIM THROUGH THE LEGS TO AND IN THE GENRAL DIRECTION OF "LEFT" I MEAN HE FUCKING KNOWS "OVY" SHOOTS LEFT AND THEREFORE THE BLADE OF HIS STICK IS GOING TO BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HIS BODY FACING PRICE WHEN HE SHOOTS THE PUCK FROM THE POINT... SO I WANNA KNOW, WHY THE FUCK DID PRICE STICK HIS BODY AND HIS HEAD OUT TO THE LEFT???
TO ME IT'S FEAR AND HIS OWN ABSOLUTE INABILITY TO LEARN ANYTHING AT ALL FROM HIS PAST MISTAKES OR TO EVEN UNDERSTAND "THE ART" OF BEING A GOALIE AND GOALTENDING IN GENERAL!!! I AM HAVING A VERY VERY HARD TIME STOMACHING THIS KID ANYMORE !!!! HE'S JUST NOT THE GOODS THAT WE WERE SOLD NOR THAT WERE ADVERTISED AND NEVER HAS BEEN!

What got my attention most of all was the way Hendricks from the Capitals went after Bourque for his head shot on Backstrum weeks ago.

Did anyone go after Chara....Does anybody stick up for anybuddy on this team.

I saw price get bumped twice against the rangers and one was a stick between his legs when he was down and not one team member did anything.

This team has no heart, no will and the chemistry is off the charts.........

Can someone tell me what the f*ck they talk about before the game.....because its not about sticking up for each other.....

And Gomez.....on the one goal he just stopped skating back and was basically at center ice when they scored......WTF....Pierre..... are you watching man!!!!

This PLUG does not deserve to be on this team!!!!!

Again....I wish i had 550 million dollars!!!!!

You gotta keep Cole and Paccioretty . In my opinion . I personally think Subban has been horrible this season . Constant turn overs and constantly caught outta position . What makes it worse , is he isn't even putting up any goals . Campoli , at the price they're paying him , he can go as well . The other 3 you mentioned , I like a lot .

I'm not sure if you just made a mistake Sparty , But Ovehkin is a right handed shot . Not a left handed shot . I will agree that he didn't play well though , Price that is . IN saying that though , YOu can't win a game , if you don't score .

He was shooting left handed on that PP, Look at the tape.

but good stuff everyone I respect all your opinions, I did leave out Cole and MPax but I think they have to prove themselves the rest of this season, they were both slow starters...again. Subban's mistakes are a s a result of everything he is being told and everything he isn't plus the fact that he's away way better skater than the entire team, none of them can keep up with him at all, and he played FANTASTIC his last 2 games.

I clearly agree to dissagree on Subban!

I loved that fight and the way Bourque took it like a man, he should be the Captain man!!!

It would polish him as a player and force him to be more offensive minded and careful at the same time as a leader.

Subban is a good player and will get better IMO. But, he will not be a superstar or anywhere near that. He doesn't have the big balls it takes to be tough enough. In fact ..he is very non-tough and it shows a lot. And he is making a ton of mistakes right now and frankly I think some of the players on the Canadiens are not that keen on him?? Anyone agree??

this kid has to much talent to give up on him...hes keeper at this point and I agree hes made alot of mistakes...but there growing pains.
But if he is going to play his aggitator style , than he had better back it up and not be the PUS*Y that he is becoming!!

I only saw the last 10 minutes of this game but do you know what I noticed the most...
I noticed that we didnt play defensive for the last 10 minutes when we had a one goal lead....
Woth Martin it was just dump it out and give it to the other team so they can mount another attack.

Cunnyworth style is different thank GOD and that sh*t didnt happen tonight..

Now all we need is 12 new guys and this team may be worth something after all...

Lets all remember and stay focused...just because we beat the Leafs doesnt mean we still dont need change!!!!

The thing about Subban is he is good and he will be better years to come...
The biggest problem with this guy is his MOUTH and cheap shots when sluthing the guys skates out from under them..
This kid has ZERO respect from other players...ZERO...
And his play of late only magnifies the character and disrespect he has to other players and he deserves everything he is recieving right now.

His teamates should nick name him Franklin...Because of all the turtling he does.......And thats embarassing...not only as a habs fan...but as a man!!!!
If your going to talk and act the way he does than he had better be able to dance...
Players have him figured out..

Maybe a discussion with Messier regarding how to act and respect to other players is needed..It helped Domi!!

Other than that I am glad hes on our team

I really am not sold on Subban at all...probably the way Spartacus is not sold on Price. I know he has some talent, but he should be much better right now than he is considering the hype that came with him a few years ago in the playoffs. He did not do much last year and there always seems to be a lot of shit around him. He talks too way too much, I hate how he is always banking his stick blade on the ice always asking for the puck, he has a very overrated shot and 80% of the time he cannot put it on net. If the Canadiens keep this kid they should restrict him from the media and have someone guide this kid 24/7 because he needs a babysitter and a very strong dose of maturity. This is a kid that needs a lot of structure to keep him focused on playing hockey. He needs to be managed!!

case in point, Crosby lived with Mario Lemieux for about 5 years before he even bought his own house....

i admit I got to give it up, were stuck with the guy and i can never seem to let it go, I just want whatever it is going to take to win a cup to happen already, this city needs a cup badly, and if the Yankees ever went 21 years without a title I cannot imagine the stink the public would be raising in New York, but here everyone just happily gors to the games like brain dead Sheep...baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...baa aaaaaaaaaaaaa....

HOWEVER

IF THEY CAN GET HIM A DECENT ENOUGH GOALIE COACH I WOULD WANT TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE, BUT HE HAS NO DIRECTION AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THE MGMT FOR THIS TEAM ACTS AS IF THEY DON'T SEE ANY OF THIS STUFF!!!! THEY DO NOT SEE A NEED TO GIVE HIM A COACH AND BECAUSE OF THIS, AND IT SEEMS TOTALLY HYPOCRITICAL OF MGMT TO ME LIKE THEY'RE KEEPING THE GUY JUST TO KEEP HIM NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES, BUT THEY DON'T EVEN SEE A NEED TO GET HIM A DECENT COACH!!! TO TEWAHC HIM THE FUNDAMENTALS FOR BEING SOLID GAME IN AND GAME OUT AND DO ANYTHING THAT UNNECCESARILY JEOPARDIZED THE TEAMS CHANCES AT WINNING GAMES!!!

THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE WITH ME PUREPLAY
BY MY OWN ADMISSION I AM UNFAIR TO HIM...BUT THAT IS BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN GUYS LIKE DRYDEN AND PLANTE, I'VE BEEN SPOILED FOR LIFE AS FAR AS THAT POSITION GOES!!!

i UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING ABOUT SUBBAN
HE'S FAR FROM PERFECT TOO

BUT I THINK HE HAS FAR MORE RAW TALENT THEN MOST GUYS IN THE LEAGUE!!!

AND G-D FORBID ANYONE EVER GIVES HIM A DECENT COACH, IMO THEY'RE WILL BE NO STOPPING THAT KID!!!

BUT I AGREE, HE STILL BEHAVES LIKE A GRANDSTANDING ROOKIE AND THAT'S WRONG OF HIM AND WHAT IS BRINGING ALL OF THIS HATE ON HIM I FEEL.

HE JUST NEEDS SOME GOOD COACHING TOO !!!

CUNNEYWORTH IS AN INCOMPETENT ASS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, THEY NEED A GUY LIKE LYNDEY RUFF BEHIND THEIR BENCH!

I agree with you on Subban, maybe a different coach might suit him better...but I can't believe they give him so much freedom with his yapping all the time.

I've said it once and i'll say it again , In my opinion , Subban and Price show that they both have all the potential in the world to be great hockey players , they're just both not playing well this season . Maybe Lakota is right , maybe it is just growing pains . The question the Managemt has to ask themselves is , Do we wanna give up on our 2 biggest potential stars ? Or do we re sign them both and hope they learn from this horrible season and start playing the way everyone knows that they can . I would like to see both Subban and Price sign for 2 year deals for roughly the same amount of money . IF they haven't reached they're full potential by the ends of both contracts , then it would be time to part ways . I would be happy to see them both in the 2-3 million category for only 2 seasons . Then make the decision on if these guys are long term guys and worth big money .

what you are saying makes sense but easier said than done. Price has had his 2 year deal and will be looking for longer term. I think he has proven himself to some extent. Suban I am not sure. They are both guys you need to rebuild the team so they should not go anywhere. Management needs to build around these guys with a strategy of obtaining size and grit on this team which they are sorely lacking. They have to compete with the size of the Bruins and the Flyers to be successful in the long run
