I still don't understand the entire Malhotra story. Manny did a great job for us in the time he played here. He worked hard, he stayed in good shape and didn't take a lot of injuries, and was a positive force in the locker room. Oh yeah and did I mention that he wins 2/3 of his faceoffs? We let him go, and kept Freddy Modin. Modin has spent at least one-third of his time here nursing an injury. Nobody denies that he's a hard worker when he's healthy. But why did we keep a guy who watches almost half his season from the press box, and lose a guy who spends 90% of his season on the ice?
