I think the Rangers will not get that big name scorer that they want. They will settle for a has been like Jagr, whitney or some low caliber scorer. Tortorella and Sather dont want to trade the kids---the result is they will get nobody and rely on Krieder to fill Gaboricks spot.

I hate the whole Rangers organization because of Glen Sather. He is a pompous ass who thinks the world of himself along with his partner in crime Tortorella. I think that they will make a trade just for the hell of it and break up this team and its character. All they have to do is put Krieder in Gaboricks place and bring up the kids like St. Croix, Borurqe, Thomas etc to see what they can do. The regular season is long and who cares where they end up as long as its in the playoffs. By giving the kids a shot in the NHL, they might get a surprise and hit gold with one of them. It is worth a shot. Look at Kreider.

Wow, drippy do you read what you write? The kids aren't close to ready. The offense was putrid and without gaborik it will only get worse. Who says gaborik is the same player when he gets back? Who says krieder turns out to be what they hope. And what kids Dubinsky, anisimov, del zotto? Some kid in the minors you have no clue will ever make your club (Jt miller) I don't trade stepan or kreider the rest are touchable. You need that goal scorer on the second line when gaborick comes back. Why? Because their offense was horrible in the playoffs when it mattered most. Semin fits best no trade needed and adds instant offense especially with krieder and stepan. Dubinsky has to go his role can be filled by someone making less then 4 mil a year. I'm not saying give up the farm but be realistic Ryan is young plays a style the rangers lack and can score. If you told me I can walk into 2 lines of Ryan, richards, gaborik and krieder, stepan, semin which then puts 29 goal scorer Callahan on a 3rd line with anisimov and whoever they decide I'm as happy as a pig in crap. Stills young roster and it allows to build the farm and let the kids mature. Check the whales website and look at the stats.
